As you say John, " need to find the money"
Who's putting the money into the project? Something like this is
going to cost at least six figures. Is the Council involved?
(Does this mean our council tax is going up to cover it?) Is
there a mysterious benefactor? Is PBB putting the money into
it? Will us "old uns" have to pay more on match day? ;D
There's going to be a lot of work needed to get the pitch flat
before the new one gets laid. I hope someone has done their sums
       on this :o

believe it is paid by grants. All surveys work has been done
(obviously). Work to start about mid May. With the juniors being
able to play on it - the money they would have had to spend on
their current locations will be transferred to the club instead.
Will be able to buy drinks inside the ground and more food. That
will generate more income to the club directly. No cost to
       citizens of Thanet through taxes.
The Corner Flag bar (ex sponsors lounge), has floor to ceilings
windows, so can watch inside when it's raining. Think will able
to buy pizzas from an outside front hatch.

       Thanks for that info Bill.
Good to know it's a "Grant", rather than a "Loan"[emoji386]
I think I'll stay outside, mind you, if it's raining. [emoji949]
Can't be too careful, even if I've had my second jab by the time
       the season starts!

think when the RFSA had their quiz nights there (with tables),
       they had about 50.
No tables now (so far), bar shelf with bar stools one side
       (opposite to windows).

i'm taking photos, but don't know how to put them here. Oh, just
noticed second icon under the italic sign about importing. Oh,
just one photo is too big.
Outer fence is down today. Had a big burn today with the old
fence that we replaced, plus a clean up behind that fence. They
burnt some of the wooden fence, but believe rest to going away
       to be burnt.
