I suppose the burning questions must be "How is the club going
to afford the cost of it?" "How long will it take to pay off any
debt incurred?" "What will demand be like?"
We don't want the club going to the wall because of a "gamble"
that could go wrong. If the money is available, why don't they
just improve the current state of the pitch and fencing?

lot of it can be covered with grants, now we have a lease (25-26
yr) can get a lot of grants for different things.

That is my thought EKR, a bit of a gamble, if we had gates of 3
to 4,000 when I first started watching, then perhaps yes.
And every time a player kicks the ball Black dust rises.
Will end up a clone of Fallingdown Park with more stands ;D

How much though Bill, will it still put the club in big debt?

expectations it will contrubute to income. Junior teams will use
it, instead of them paying for grounds outside the club (they
have to pay a ground fee every time they use it outside = which
is a lot). Plus other people using it as indicated in the web
page proposal.

"Other people using it"
In my opinion, that will be a fine line to judge. Charge them
too much to use the facility and they wont come. Too little and
the club wont make enough money! Good luck with the people that
make those sort of decisions! ;)

Having watched RFC play since I was a teenager it would be
tragic if the club bit off more than it could chew.
Oh yes Phil I was a teenager once ;D
