What I can't get round my head is the fact that the leagues have
paused but the FA still carry on with the FA Trophy and FA Vase!
Deal played away on Saturday in Sussex(couldn't take any fans,
as Kent is Tier 3 and not allowed to travel) but the home team
(Saltdean) is in Tier 2 and allowed fans to watch!
What's the difference between a league game and a cup game??
Deal are through to the next round and have a home game(but must
play behind closed doors!). Madness! No money coming in on a day
when you would expect a decent crowd watching!
Yes I agree there are some very strange things
happening, the FA appear to favour the cup games over the league
games, perhaps Covid only happens in league games.
It's like Christmas Fairs going ahead in Tier 3. I won't be
going to any of these with people not wearing masks, pushing,
coughing and spitting. It's bad enough in the supermarkets but
at least we all need to eat.

cup games have a deadline. League games could finish on a points
per game if the season cannot be finished at a given time (think
that is the general feeling).

Crazy thing is, they're playing the FA Trophy and FA Vase games
for this year but still haven't played LAST years finals in both
competitions! :o
Probably be playing both finals on the same day.
Thinking about it, the FA are holding onto the prize money then
for last years comps :D

Only one problem!
What happens if last years finalists are in this years final as
well?[emoji848]
I can remember, back in the day, when I used to play local league
footy,I played a couple of "double headers". I was absolutely
knackered for days afterwards!
