looks as if the season will not start until Jan 9. that's the
general feeling. Friendly against Maidstone this Saturday. No
fans.

Twitter page says we're away to South Park, after advertising
for an away game!?

cannot get any info. Best, v Maidstone, have a young player that
played for Maidstone from the age of 8 - hope he is older than
that (Max Sutton)

couldn't get a copy of the link to the game, tried to write it
out, but didn't work. Tried to ''copy'' the link on the mobile -
not allowed.
Appears one comment from our support in viewing the game, so-so
first half, poor 2nd half. Don't think I agree with him. Matt
said he used 7 subs in 2nd half. Hope for better showing next
week against Staines (if it is still on)??

I wouldn't worry too much about the result.
Maidstone are National League South(2 levels above the Rams) and
basically friendlies are just glorified training sessions. With
7 subs being used,it shows the boss is keen to give everyone
some game time, to get fitness levels back. The league's more
important!

What I can't get round my head is the fact that the leagues have
paused but the FA still carry on with the FA Trophy and FA Vase!
Deal played away on Saturday in Sussex(couldn't take any fans,
as Kent is Tier 3 and not allowed to travel) but the home team
(Saltdean) is in Tier 2 and allowed fans to watch!
What's the difference between a league game and a cup game??
Deal are through to the next round and have a home game(but must
play behind closed doors!). Madness! No money coming in on a day
when you would expect a decent crowd watching!
