all up, think it is more like 600,000. paramater fence, lights
       etc etc,
Quite a bit for just the survery

Yes that will cost money, but the lights, you only need an extra
light or two on each tower.
Deal Town's lights ae the best I've seen, better than
       Margate's IMO.
Do you need extra Lux for a plastic pitch?

       going to change the globes.
Need 3 metres from the pitch to the paramater, as cannot have
grass up to the pitch. Believe pitch will be moved a bit to one
       side to accommadate

Personally, I think its a lot of money (in theory) being spent,
on something that could end up to be an albatross round the
       clubs' neck. ::)
With the figures being banded about, it seems obvious that to
recoup that money, RFC need to let a lot of people use it
       365,24/7.
There are currently, to my knowledge, two other artificial
pitches in the Thanet area, one that TOTS have and the other at
       King Georges Park, Minster.
If a third one is built by RFC, the question must be asked(apart
from the juniors at the football club), who else in the area
will use Southwood? Would a third pitch be a case of "overkill?"
:-\ Are there clubs waiting in the wings, longing for the day
it happens? Clubs that could be using the two above!? The only
way to entice people is with a better offer than the others can
       provide.
If the club has got that sort of money to play with, why not put
it to better use and say improve the drainage, flatten the pitch
       and improve the lights? ???

I totally agree EKR. A great deal of money to pay out, plus of
course the maintenance needed in years to come.
Bill is there room at the back of the far stand to accommodate
more cars if it was cleared and tarmacked ?
