From the MFC website:
After Saturday’s game a conversation took place between the
board and the management team and Steve decided it was in the
best interests for both parties that we parted company.
Margate Director Chris Chambers “We would like to place on
record our sincerest thanks to Steve for his significant,
valuable contribution and dedicated efforts during his time at
Margate FC.”
Steve Brown “I’m positive with time and patience you will all
see success on and off the pitch and Hartsdown will develop into
a superb non-league ground.
I’d like to thank everyone at Margate FC and wish everyone at
the club the best of luck for the rest of this season and wish
you all well for the future.”
Mike Sandmann will continue to lead the team and the Club are
currently in discussions with Mike regarding the new management
set up.
The Gate travel to Tonbridge on Saturday looking to avenge the
early season loss to the Angels at Hartsdown Park.

If you look at Maidstones' forum,you'll see that he's still
regarded as a bit of a cult figure with them 8)
Very popular guy in Kent football. He'll certainly have his
hands full,trying to keep TOTS up. I would hate to think,that IF
they did get relegated,he'd get the boot(no pun intended!) and
be used as a scapegoat,because he doesn't deserve that! >:(

I wonder what Jay thought of the ground after being at Maidstone
with their lovely ground, still he was probably impressed that
they had given the shipping containers a coat of paint ;D Oh
and a micro stand for the Garden Gnomes at the stinging nettle
end >:(

I think having that "CT9" postcode is turning you into a closet

He probably thought "This place hasn't changed much since I was
