The courthouse attack

Arashi and Lexius broke into the courthouse it was the end of
the evening so they though that most everyone was gone for the
day but they were wrong. They and their group had planned to
bust into the courthouse and destroy the cursed machine. They
blamed the machine for all the unjust punishment. While they
agreed that it was good for emergencies and to prevent death
they had only a problem with it for use on prisoners. They
lost their way and ended up in the courthouse luckly there was
no active case in the courthouse. But they came across the
judge sitting at the big desk shuffling papers since he was
getting ready to take them back to his private chambers. If they
had waited two seconds then they would of missed them. Lexius
lowered the weapon they had with them at the judge but Arashi
got between them and yelled that they didn’t come to harm
anyone or even kill anyone and in their stuggle for the gun it
went off and Arashi got shot in the side. He fell to the ground
and Lexius escaped with the rest of the gang leaving Arashi
behind to his fate wounded and in extreme pain. Arashi couldn’t
flee with the others he needed medical help so he was stuck at
the mercy of the judge he saves. He passed out his last sight
was his friend taking off without him and the boots of the
judges feet as he came over to him.

Judge Morgan's day was about over; it had been a long and
arduous day like many others and he was about to head to his
private chambers when he suddenly heard some commotion. Once he
lifted his head up, the judge noticed the gun that was just a
few short feet away from him. Jason panicked, but soon he was
saved as the other one that had accompanied the armed gunman had
stepped in between him and the gun, taking the shot that was
initially intended for him. Jason quickly rose to his feet and
went over to see how badly the man was injured.
As sooon as Judge Morgan came up to the laying man, he was
already passed out. He called out for help, but no one was there
since everyone had gone for the day. He looked around quickly to
try and find something to stop the wound, but there was nothing.
The only option that Judge Morgan could think of was to use the
Rejuvenation Chamber, which was sometimes used to heal or save
people that had medical problems that couldn't be helped.
Quickly, Jason took the man and carried him to the chamber; he
knew that he didn't have much time left before the man bled out
so he hurried; quickly undressing him and slipping him into the
chamber. Not really focusing on what age to set the machine for,
Jason just spun the dial and pushed the button; awaiting to see
how the rejuvenation chamber was going to heal the young man
that had just saved his life.

Arashi slowly woke up he wasnt' feeling in pain any longer but
his bloody shirt hung limply around his body. He cursed softly
and looked around realizing that he must of underwent a
emergency rejuve. he looked down at himself and judge that he
looked about seven years old give or take a few months. He
brushed his long hair back from his face and he remembered the
pain of the bullet and wondered where he was. " where am I ?"
He whispered softly his new voice seeming more shrill and
childlike and totally unfamiliar to his ears. He tried to sit
up shakenly.

Having little choice, Jason had to put the man into the Rejuve
Chamber in order to save him. Although he did in fact save his
life, he knew that at some point the topic of the intended crime
would have to be discussed but later. After the chamber had
finished with the transformation, Jason went into the chamber
and saw the now-young man. "You've been rejuvenated. I had no
choice." Jason spoke softly; a little unsure as to how the boy
would react. "I believe you're about seven or so." Jason went to
the nearest cupboard and fetched some clothes for the boy and
handed them to him. "You saved my life and I saved yours."

Arashi nodded soflty and slowly still unused to his body he
fumbled for the clothing and started to dress quickly. " Thank
you " he said softly. He looked around." Does this mean i'm in
the hospital?" He asked softly. He hoped he was in the hospital
but he had his doubts he feared he was in the same chamber that
they had planned to destroy tonight and his nervousness grew.
Before him was a offical judge he could make descisions about
his fate and now that he was a child he didn't have any
protection of being a adult he had to go to a new parent and be
raised up again. He couldn't afford the process even if it was a
emergency. " Am i a
the answer his eyes wide. Would his biggest fear become a
reality. Did they leave him behind to become that which he
fought against.

"Penitatas." Jason shook his head. Even though that he'd not yet
made his ruling officially, he knew what the boy would be
classified as. Since there was intent on doing harm, no matter
what that harm was, Jason knew that he would have to be made a
Penny. "You're in the Rejuvenation Chamber." Jason sat down and
brought the young boy over after he was done dressing in the
very loose-fitting clothes, then looked straight in his eyes and
asked him, "What were you and your comrades thinking you would
do, young man?" Jason's eyes were firm and sharp as he looked
for the answers that he needed in order to make a proper
decision about the boys' fate.

arashi's eyes widen in real horror " no no not that anything
but that" He wished the man had let him die if he was gonna do
that to him. His biggest fear the rebels were totally against
the system and here he was now in the system he was against it
just wasn't fair. He tried to calm his beating heart. Maybe the
others will come rescue him but no they left him behind like a
used toy. He looked up at the judge and though about lieing to
him but the story stumbled out as a child the webbing made him
a little more willing to be open and honest then he would of
been as a adult. " honestly no one was suppose to get hurt we
just came to disable the machine and prevent usage. " That was
close to the truth arashi was there to slice into the system
and render it non working without actually harming the
equipment. He didn't know the other one had the gun "and no one
was suppose to be here."

The little boy looked troubled as he heard him talk; Jason was a
patient and compassionate man, although in the court rooms he
was seen as relentless and fearless. Jason was usually very
strict and firm with his decisions; some didn't always see them
as just, but he did, and that's what mattered. "I see." He said,
continuing to watch and listen to him. Jason gently took hold of
the boy and asked, "So you were going to HACK into our system?"
It made sense that there were people who wanted to destroy or
ruin the system; there always were. "Well, I WAS here and you
were the one hurt. I do want to thank you for saving my life,
but you intended on doing harm to a goverment facility. That CAN
NOT go without some punishment." Jason looked into the boy's
eyes again, intent and serious as ever; even willing to
demonstrate if needed.

Arashi gulps and nodded softly. He couldn't help but wiggle as
the man looked at him.He knew that he was in deep trouble and
slicing did have a rejuve consequences. His mouth was dry as
he looked into the mans very serious eyes. " w what are you
going to do with me?"His voice shaked and He asked very
worried. He already was a child he hoped that it wouldn't get
worse then the age he was now. But he knew some could be
sentenced to as young a four years old but they usually like to
only do that with dangerous criminals cause they couldn't age
them down if they got injured and needed a emergency rejuve. so
he was sure that maybe the guy wouldn't make him younger but
where will he put him and how long till he gives him to a parent
to hurt him and abuse him for the sentence.

What WAS Jason Morgan going to do about the boy? He thought
about it some and found himself in a bit of a dilemma; he
couldn't really do very much, at least not officially.
Everything had been shut down and even the courts were closed
for the day. He was sure he could find a security guard
somewhere in the building, but they wouldn't have any idea what
to do with the boy. Rubbing his chin, Jason thought about it for
a moment then finally said, "You're to come with me.... tonight,
Penitatas..." The judge had made up his mind. "But first," He
began to speak again, "What is your name?" Jason drew the boy a
little closer and his hands slowly moved to his loose-fitting
clothes.
