Good day to all my RC enthusiast around the world. As been in
the hobby since 1989 I would like to share my views and
experience so it may help some one new to this hobby. Most of
them think this is a toy and people play with it and waste time.
Off course with toys you cant learn anything. I don't blame them
because ignorance is our worst enemy but now we have Facebook as
a tool to spread awareness and knowledge to anyone around the
world which was not possible earlier.
So to start with, most people think this is a toy, not really.
This is a high level detailed miniature machine engineered to
mimic the actual machine. They function the same and behave the
same as the actual machine. These machines are designed by
engineers. These machines have electronics, mechanical systems
and aerodynamics to name a few. I would simply call as model
engineering. I can say this as I am an engineer myself in the
energy automation for many years. This is a hobby well respected
by people who are in this hobby.
Also in this hobby, you can learn a lot of things with endless
possibilities and you can do what you dreamt off like me, I
always wanted to be a pilot but that was only a dream. I
couldn't qualify as a fighter pilot recruit at the Army because
of my lower scores in mathematics which shattered my dreams but
my dream became true when I was flying model jets which gave me
a satisfaction that at least I have achieved my dreams with God
gifted skills. Yes, we all are smart and intelligent but
sometimes life does not give us that window of opportunity but
with this hobby you can earn it by yourself taking your own
sweet time. Now welcome to the world of RC modelling and
       engineering.
Below is a 1/10 RC car engineered for speed and aerodynamics
       just like the real one.
