       Gold as a hedge to your investment? How much percentage to alloc
       ate?

       Hello guys,
       Looks like the investment section of this forum is still less
       populated.  I have always had 10% of my portfolio with digital
       gold and it has always help me hedge my portfolio during every
       black swan event, including the most recent one due to Covid-19.
       However, my friends have a different view and aversion towards
       investing in gold since they do not offer any dividends or bonus
       or splits like the normal stocks.
       What is your view on this?

       Gold has been more like a savings for me that whenever I did
       need money suddenly, I would just go and sell at a pawn shop.
