Can anyone rephrase this question in more layperson terms? I'm
having a tough time figuring out what is being asked.

Think about a case where we have the equation: 3x=2.
To solve the equation, we would divide 3 (or multiply 1/3) to
the both sides: (1/3)*(3x)=(1/3)*2.
Then, x is just 2/3.
In matrix calculation, the inversion is similar to the division,
and we know how to find out an inverse matrix in R.
