Mr. Anderson defeated Jeff Hardy in a surprise match at TNA
Genesis tonight to become the NEW TNA World Heavyweight
Champion. Also, Matt Hardy made his TNA debut, defeating Rob Van
       Dam.
What are your thoughts of the show? What do you think of
Anderson as champion? Do you like Matt Hardy in TNA? What were
the best and worst matches? Did you even watch it? Let us know
your thoughts on these topics in our 'Comments' section below.

It was a newsworthy show with all of the title changes and Matt
Hardy's debut. Unfortunately, I think TNA left some money on the
table by not doing a better job of building intrigue regarding
Rob Van Dam's mystery opponent. I'm not saying they should have
overhyped it as they've done in the past, but there has to be a
       happy medium.
I don't think too many people ordered the show based on the
mystery opponent aspect until word spread that Hardy was
backstage at the show. Throw in the fact that we got a TNA Title
change on a show where no TNA Title match was advertised and it
felt like the company gave away way more than advertised. That's
great for those of us who ordered the show and perhaps it will
help create a sense of "anything can happen" for future
pay-per-views, but it didn't do the buyrate for this show any
       favors.

After so much bitching and saying that he lost weight, Matt
       Hardy is fatter than ever.

Well it's offical. Every Money in the Bank winner has become a
       World Champion. Lol.
TNA Genesis was great! MCMG vs. Beer Money is an early MOTYC.
Kaz vs. Lethal was a fun match. Matt Hardy's debut was cool. Mr.
Anderson beating Matt Morgan and Jeff Hardy made Anderson look
like a strong champion. Great stuff. Good job by TNA.

With the exception of the tag match and the X-division match,
the ppv was pretty horrible. Matt Hardy's debut was shit too.
The dude showed up, looking like Tyler Reks hungrier older
brother. Hell Tyler was a trending topic on twitter when Hardy
made his debut. Tyler Reks, not Matt Hardy. Again, his debut was
shit. The crowd didn't give a shit about it. And that's sad when
a TNA crowd doesn't give you a crowd response. These are the
same people, who marked out when Foley mentioned he was wearing
sketchers. The Jarrett/Angle match was ok, but the blatant blade
job(which was easily visible for God and everybody else to see)
sort of put a damper on the match. The match definitely made the
botch a mania reel. The Bubba Ray/D-Von match = boring as hell.
First off, I gotta say "Bully Ray"? TNA, are you serious? I said
this on twitter and I'll say it again now... TNA uses terms like
“Bully Ray” and the TNA fanboys bash WWE for their PG dialogue.
SMH at this crazy ass bullshit. That match was shit. It was
basically two big fat asses fighting over nothing.
Their feud is going no where and TNA will end up totally
forgetting about it, and bringing the Dudlez back together to
feud with the Lardy brothers. And of course TNA will call it a
"dream" match even though the Dudleyz and Hardyz have feuded
countless times. Kennedy/Morgan match was pretty lackluster.
And the Kennedy/Hardy title match was a train wreck IMO. I'm
glad that Kennedy Kennedy finally got the gold, but the way TNA
booked the title change was horrible. It was just too much going
on. You had Bischoff, Morgan, Matt Hardy, Foley among others all
involved. Too much shit going on in that match
