My 2010 wrestling awards

Wrestler of the year: Bryan Danielson/Daniel Bryan. Great
matches, great comeback, great feuds(with Miz and even Cole),
and so damn talented in the ring.
Tag Team of the year: The Motor City Machine Guns. Probably the
only reason to watch TNA nowadays. The Guns are just an amazing
tag team. Their series of matches with Beer Money and Generation
Me were just great.
Match of the year: Davey Richards vs. Tyler Black at Death
Before Dishonor 8. HBK vs. Taker at WM 26 wasn't as good as
their WM 25 match IMO, but still is my 2nd favorite match of
this year. But Black and Richards put on one hell of a match for
over 30 minutes and really made the belt feel like it meant
something and IMO was a 5 star classic.
Feud of the year: Kevin Steen vs. El Generico. This feud began
late last year and just recently ended not too long ago at Final
Battle in a tremoundus match. This is the classic partner turns
on partner feud that seemed to get bloodier and bloodier and
became one of my favorite feuds.
Most Improved: Cody Rhodes. I have to say before this year. Cody
Rhodes bored me and I was not really a fan of his. But then,
when he went to Smackdown and started this new gimmick. I have
to say I have gone to like the guy. He also has put on some
really good matches on Smackdown, like against Christian.
Rookie of the year: Wade Barrett. In the short time he is been
in WWE, he won the very first season of NXT, he became the
leader of Nexus, he became one of the top heels of the company,
he was put in a program with the two top guys in the company
Orton and Cena, he main evented Summerslam, Night of Champions,
Bragging Rights, Survivor Series, and TLC, and he has a tight
accent. Definitely the rookie of the year.
Most overrated: Randy Orton. Probably the worst year for Randy
Orton. If anyone can name a good one-on-one match with Orton in
it, please do. Randy has bored me in the ring, on the mic, and
he fits better as a heel than a face.
Most underrated: William Regal. Good wrestler, good mic skills,
but he is spending most of his time on WWE Superstars and those
matches are actually pretty good(his match with DH Smith the
other day is worth checking out). I just wish he had one last
major feud for a title. Bryan vs. Regal for the US title
perhaps. I wouldn't mind Regal winning the title either.

Wrestler of the Year: Rey Mysterio: Now I'm probably gonna get
shit for this... oh wait no im not nobody comes on here, but IMO
Rey Mysterio was the best performer/wrestler of this year. The
guy worked the entire year through injuries one after another,
was supposed to take time off but of course other factors
decided he couldn't and he wrestled this entire year and despite
it all put on great matches.
Royal Rumble: vs Undertaker
EC: Chamber Match
Wrestlemania-Over the Limit: Punk
Fatal 4 Way: vs Swagger Show Punk
MITB: Swagger
Summerslam:Kane
Bragging Rights: Returned and was in that 7 man Tag Team Match
Survivor Series: Led a 5 man team
TLC: Performed in the Show Stealer of the Night
Not to mention his countless TV matches that were very good as
well. Bottom Line IMO this guy deserves this award.
Tag Team of the Year: Motor city Machine Guns. What Abel said.
Match of the Year: Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels II. Despite the
fact that it wasn't as good as their match before tat WM 25.
This match still delivered and had the emotion that no other
match can deliver anywhere. These two are the best at what they
do and they proved it with a phenomenal buildup the history
between the two and magic these two gave us in the ring.
Most Improved:Cody Rhodes Gotta agree completely once again with
Abel on this.
Rookie of the Year:Wade Barrett Goddamn Abel you are right on
the money again.
Most overrated:The Miz Yup Orton suck more than hooker with a
rent to pay, but The Miz gets this. The guy received so much
this year and in exchange he gives us mediocrity. His ring
skills are shit, the guy cant do a damn thing in there that
makes me wanna watch, his Mic work is soooooo overrated, the guy
botches lines and says the same crap every week he even repeats
himself constantly, The Miz is decent on the Mic tbh but he is
knowhere near the Rock no matter how much the IWC dick rides
him. Bottom Line Miz is the most overrated superstar this year,
Ring Sills: Boring Mic Skills: Overrated (say isn't that the
name of this award) overall: He's the Miz... and he's
AWWWWWFUUUUULLLLLL!!!!!
Most Underrated:John Morrison This year tbh the guy flopped he
wasn't getting anything despite his awesome performances there
were some moments they had nothing for him, the crowd didn't pop
for him the way they should, the guy just wasn't looked at as a
future star in other peoples opinions and most of all the soon
to be deceased WWE Universe's opinions, it wasn't until late
this year the guy got his shot and has been doing wonders with
it, but its not gonna make me forget the mistreatment he
received earlier this year. Bottom Line Morrison was underrated
this entire year, however 2011 will be The Year the Palace of
Wisdom shall reign over WWE! (No matt hardy this is not one of
your Various "year of Matt hardy" Lines this one will actually
happen.)

You are definitely right about Mysterio. I hate how people hate
on him for being for kids. He puts on great matches even when he
is injured. Now that I think of it, Daniel Bryan vs. Rey
Mysterio would be an epic match that I would love to see!

Wrestler of the year: Honestly, I gotta go with Kane. Minus the
weird shit with Edge, this has been his year. Him being able to
defeat Taker at 3 consecutive PPVs alone, puts him at the top of
the list. Throw in a Title reign and awesome promos and yeah
Kane was the man this year. And to Onlytime (if he sees this) I
apologize for bashing Kane's title reign when it first happened.
Kane proved me wrong and had a pretty awesome reign.
Tag Team of the year: MCMG's easily. Just watch their matches
and you'll see why. I think next year, GenMe will be tag team of
the year, as long as TNA doesn't fuck somethin up. The Young
Bucks/GenMe is a tag team with huge potential in TNA.
Match of the year. Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels at WM26. Now
don't get me wrong, their WM26 match wasn't as good as their
WM25 match as some have already pointed out. But this match was
still pretty solid and better than I thought it would be. Ring
psychology and raw emotion in the match, are also why I put this
match as the match of the year. Two things that I wish would've
been improved and that's the crowd and commentary. The crowd in
Houston for their WM25 match was intense. (Texas crowds are some
of the best wrestling crowds today IMO) The crowd in Phoenix
could've been better IMO. Also, Jim freakin Ross should've
called HBK's final match instead of Cole, Lawler, and Striker.
Feud of the year: HBK vs. Taker II. The feud leading up to their
WM26 match was awesome. Nothing, from any other wrestling
company, came close to surpassing.
Most Improved: Laycool's own Layla. IMO she's really gotten alot
better in the ring and on the mic. Hopefully she keeps up the
good work.
Rookie of the year: Wade Barrett. People wanna claim how good a
heel Miz is? Wade was able to do wat it took Miz 5 yrs to do, in
less than a year. This dude started on NXT as a no name rookie,
and finished the year off as one of the top heels on RAW. The
dude is awesome on the mic and in the ring. I hope to God WWE
doesn't turn this dude face anytime soon. He has World Champion
writtin all over him. After Barrett, I gotta go with Del Rio. My
prediction for him is that in 2011 he'll be either the WWE or
WHC. Hope to God he wins MITB at WM.
Most overrated: Miz without a doubt. I still don't see what's so
great about this dude. His in-ring work is mediocre at best and
his mic skills are vastly overrated. It amazes me how many in
the IWC claim this dude is the never Jericho or Rock in terms of
mic skills, when Jericho and Rock (on their worst day) could
easily embarass this dude on the mic.
Most underrated: Toss up between Ted Dibiase Jr. and Zack Ryder.
Both are amazing talents but WWE keeps fucking them over.

Oh shit i forgot my Feud of The Year Okay I'm Gonna go with:
It's a Toss up between Taker vs Kane or Taker vs HBK, both those
feuds had history and intensity but I'm gonna go with the latter
simply because it produced a classic match.

Oh and JMMD the reason why you can't see what's so great about
the Miz is because no matter how hard you look you can't see
what isn't there. :D
