Anime? Lol, You don't have a multi million franchise if you
don't have a good english anime dub, and that's one of many One
Pieces critical flaws. 4Kids has made one piece into absolute
shit, and it's actually hated amongst hundreds of people, just
because of that dubbing. Also, the intertwining story line
doesn't mean anything, if it's so long, that you forgot where
you began.
Fuck 4Kids.

Let's not forget that international income is lesser, because
the royalties percentage is diluted. From what i read somewhere,
if 20% of internationally product income goes to the jap
distributors, and 10%, like oda does, from the distributors goes
to the author; theoretically, the mangaka only gets an overall
2% internationally. Unless the franchise outside japan reached
the billion USD or the 9 digits USD, you can't say he's richer
than Oda lol. Plus, knowing how screw-up and racist Japan is,
let's not forget about extra taxes!!! Kishi is already one of
the highest tax payers in japan.

If what you say it's true, then Oda is richer than Kishimoto (he
did start two years earlier than Kishimoto). But One Piece still
isn't big as Naruto though. I'm not saying Naruto is better,
it's just Naruto has the most attention internationally, as well
as being the most popular shounen anime (Death Note might be the
most popular anime) and manga. Little kids prefer ninjas more
than pirates lol.

lol those are funny pictures. I do agree that 4kids ruined our
anime, especially One Piece. I mean, come on! No blood, Sanji
has a lollipop and not a cigarette in his mouth. I already
thought the animation was cruddy, but the censoring made it
worse.

I dunno about the other characters, but Ichigo has Tensa
Zangetsu, Shirosaki, and Orihime's powers to get revived. But
what about Gin? He's presumed to be dead and he's not really a
bad guy. But if Kubo brings him back, then I guess that will
make him a bigger troll lol.

Both of the reason you gave are beyond Oda's control, No one
cares about One Piece 4kids dub anyway, everyone knows it's
shit, and I remember everything from beginning, and most people
do.

One Piece is successful where it matters most. In Japan, One
Piece is more popular than Bleach and Naruto combined. And it is
the highest selling manga in the history of manga.
