Backstage Update - MVP's WWE Release & Future
By: wwerox1 Date: December 10, 2010, 4:38 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
Regarding MVP's release from World Wrestling Entertainment last
week, he asked for it and it was granted by John Laurinaitis.
He had been unhappy for some time and asked friends more than a
month ago regarding work outside the United States. While it was
his call to part ways with the company, others noted that his
prospects as a headliner were over. He was openly frustrated
with newer talent being pushed ahead of him and was outspoken
about it, similar to Matt Hardy and Chavo Guerrero. He had
recently suggested changing his character to a rapper, but
R-Truth already had the role tabbed.
He's a big a fan of Japanese wrestling and is particularly
hopeful to work for New Japan Wrestling. He is also interested
in working with AAA.

Truly sucks that he never got a huge push. The dude was an
awesome heel. WWE definitely fucked him over by turning him
face.

Honestly....when you have a guy like The Miz, going over as WWE
Champion, when people like Matt Hardy have been there for over
10 years, and MVP about for about 5, that sends a real slap in
the face to the senior locker room, no matter what condition
(Matt), their in. In All Fairness, Chavo Guerrero wasn't a bad
wrestler either, but WWE fucked him hard in the ass by making
him a jobber, and thought they could repay years of his
wrestling career by having Low Ki/Kaval job to him. This is a
real problem in the WWE, and it just shows how weak the SD!
foundation is.

imo how many years you are in the company has nothing to do if
you should get the title or not, and miz was on wwe tv before
mvp anyway so by your logic miz was going to get the title
before mvp anyway, and what wwe needs is younger main eventers
so giving it to people like hardy or chavo? seriously chavo as
wwe champ lol shouldnt happen

First Off, The Miz made his debut in 2004 (Tough Enough), yes,
but he was in prelim training (OVW), until 2006, where he
officially debuted on SD!, Also, it's funny because the SD!
Champion is Kane. A man who's been in the since 1994, and he's
sure not ''young,'' because if memory serves, Chavo debuted in
WCW in 94'. I'm sure anyone here would rather Matt Hardy then
that piece of garbage, The Miz anyday, and that's certainly
saying a lot, seeing as how I'm the only Hardy mark here. Oh,
and I don't think Matt should be WWE Champ. It doesn't/never
will suit him.

no your memory doesnt serve you right cause chavo debuted for
wcw in 1996 and again people should have the title cause they
were in the company first, if thats the case taker should hold
all the belts, and i personally would like to see miz over matt
hardy as champ cause matt done jack shit since his feud with mvp
on smackdown while miz has slowly been improving all the time
and doesnt need to jump of some ladder

Okay dude just cuz u were there first doesnt mean u should be
champion first that's just ridiculous not to mention so what if
Miz improved if he was a 2 when he started and he's 5 now,
newsflash he's still a Fucking 5!

And DXfan don't feel like that i was once a Hardy Mark too back
when i was still a mark in fact i stopped liking him since he
went on his own and started dousing himself in Paint and looking
stoned to all his matches but i know what its like to like the
guy cuz he was "so cool" but i grew out of it.

but if has improved like that in a year, then he'll be an 8 this
time next year and with the need of new stars in the main event
you might aswell push the one that has shown signs of being the
next big name

He improved to a 5 and has been staying a 5 when you have that
little talent like Miz you should know his scale stops at 5.
