Royal Rumble Format Changing?

I read the other day on one of the wrestling sites, that WWE are
planning on doing something with the current format of the Royal
Rumble? If they do plan on doing this, what do you think they
should do to it?
A Couple of options i could think of
1)Make It a 50 Man Royal Rumble
-On the plus side of them doing this, loads of records could be
broken for the match itself, less people would be left off the
card with pretty much everyone being used.
2)Adding Pinfalls and Submissions to the match as ways of
elimination
-This could really make things interesting! It would certainly
change the way the match has been working in the past. Id
certainly be interested to see how this would pan out.
3)Gauntlet Style
-Im not really a fan of this idea but it could make things
interesting with only one on one encounters rather than multiple
people in at once. However, I dont really think this would help
the match, i just think it would ruin it really.
4) Smackdown vs Raw Royal Rumble
-I prefer this over the Gauntlet idea, and it would be
interesting to see 2 teams of 15 entering in Royal Rumble
fasion. Maybe make it so, the winning teams show will have the
main event of mania.
Any Other Ideas On What They Could Do? + Like Any Of My Ideas?

1) would be epic 50 men rumblewould be cool.
2) I don't really care about that except it would be hard to do
with lots of people in at once.
3) I don't like this cause if its one vs one the whole time big
guys like big shw and make henery would dominate it.
4) I also don't like this one Ithink the rumble should stay free
for all.

I see no reason to make any changes to the Rumble's format. Like
the sayin goes, if it aint broke don't fix it. I seriously hope
McMahon doesn't fuck up the Rumble event. Behind Mania, it's my
favorite PPV.

Agreed. I like the traditional Royal Rumble match and format.
WWE does not need to change the Rumble. It's fine the way it is
IMO.

I think either keeping it the same or making it 50 Man are the
best two options. I just hope though, that if WWE do decide to
change it (which i heard they might) its by making it a 50 man
and not some other way that might ruin the match.

The Only thing I really think They ought to focus on is making
the Time Gap 2 mins for every superstar entering again.

They really should keep it as is. The Royal Rumble is perfectly

Im a fan of the original format and the "survive to the end"
given your numbered slot. But then again, its possibility with
he Entrant #1 or 30 Winning was the best possible storyline
opportunity that it offered and its been greatly exhausted
already.

The Reason For These Ideas is that they feel that matter how bad
they book it they feel it should remain consistent with the
fans. Idots They ought to focus on More Epic Showdowns and Shit
like that during Royal Rumbles and have some good wrestling in i
as well Morrison and Mysterio really did some good shit in 09 as
did Taker in Hbk both times 07 and 08 if wwe would have good
stuff and an occasional shocking elimination people would care
again not to mention a Cena Taker wncounter at the rumble would
be historic these days and a good way to set up a WM match.
