Training Runs

Not sure how many read these things, but I am going to be
setting up training runs 3 nights a week. Mostly because there
is a huge gap between people that ran speed for weeks and newer
players that will have to start with T1s and do full clears, etc
... and also because Im getting kinda tired of the
ZOMGWHTUSUXIMDPSGODTYPEANDYOURMOMDOESMECOMEATMEBRUAYOUSCURRED?!?

mentality that seems to be prevalent in game atm. We are going
to go on some runs and fail sometimes, but the goal is to learn
.. and drink lots of beer whilst doing it! Gonna be casual and
laid back, so if your interested leave your name in this thread
and your time zone. My play time is 6am to about 9ish EST and
then after 6pm on EST.
My main is Amergin (GWF), but have revamped my CW (Jarelle) and
am currently working on my GF (Barzell) so we can take on just
about anything with whoever wants to come.
First and foremost, I want to do this so people can come in and
learn step-by-step how to finish a dungeon. Its going to be a
long haul at first but it will get faster as we learn to play
together.
Secondly, if you are in the run and a piece of gear falls that
is specific to your class and it will improve you, you will get
that item. If there are two of the same classes in the group and
you both need, you two will roll need. If its not an upgrade
then all will roll greed. Im tired of being in groups that roll
greed on all so an item can be sold on the auction house. Shards
and such will roll need on obviously.

I would love to join you guys on these runs. The only 2
dungeons I'm familiar with the Pirate King and Frozen Heart. I
would love to learn the other ones.....seems my pugs can never
get to the end. :(
My main is my CW Tinga.

Would love to join.
My only issue is I am MTN time and still at work when you are
starting up the runs. If you or anyone else wants to do any on
the weekends, then I would love some training. No ruler across
the knuckles though please. Even though I need that every now
and again. :)

- I think I go KaBoom more then the mobs. :)

Nothing like that KaBoom ..
The only real structure is:
1) People need to be on vent while in the dungeon for
communication reasons and have ample kits/pots
2) Speed runs & shortcuts are a thing of the past so things
might take a little longer then before - so no RAGING!!
3) That begin said, a bunch of the strats that people got used
to in the past are no longer going to be effective - realize
this and understand that some new ones might have to be
developed - no RAGING-QUITTING!!!
4) The ultimate goal (for me at least) isnt a speed gear run,
but to learn to work together as a group (and learn how to
effectively play your char in a group) - gearing up is a huge
bonus we get for doing THAT correctly.
5) Have fun!! If you dont like the crew your running with, then
you dont have to run with them. Dont be an ass about it, just
leave.
As to the MST issue that is no problem. Im hoping to be able to
schedule set times 3 to 4 times a week for structured runs that
work for everyone allowing for at least one DD a week in the
training session for anyone, then doing whatever we can pick up
on the weekends when time constraints are less.
We followed a schedule like this in AoC with a once a week limit
of encounters and full battle groups and in roughly 6 months or
so had progression through T1 to T3 and close to T4 before I
left. We have the ability to run these whenever we want, as many
times we need. It wouldnt matter if we to start at ground zero
and work towards T1s to progress. Within weeks we would have 5
man teams geared out on full clears.

I'm new to 60 and I've had minimal success with pugs in DD's so
this sounds awesome to me and i'll be keen to do non raging
instructor lead dungeons anytime. I welcome all advice on strats
and how to play TR. I'm usually on Est 21:30 - 0:30. In game
