Blowing a gale here oop north but we’ve decided to extend our
stay by 2 days(don’t ask🙈). I’ve been asked on fb if
Dave is ok by the 3 exiles? I’ve also been informed that no one
has posted on billabong lately? Can they still access the site
and read the posts? I’ve just said Dave’s had problems with
internet. Not getting involved in the argument. Have a good day
all.

A cool wet day again but rain always needed with flowers
blooming early. Just shopping today and dodging showers, Footy

Hi guys, well we eventually got our storm yesterday evening, the
clouds gathered and nighttime arrived early, the thunder and
lightening got closer and closer until we seemed to be at the
center of it all, there was one BIG BANG that shook the house,
and these old houses don’t shake easily. There was some rain,
but not nearly enough!
Yes, Gil, keep ‘em in the dark 8)
I said to Maureen, yesterday, that I think I’ll have a haircut
soon, next thing I know she’s got me an appointment for 08:30
this morning, I mean, what sort of silly time is that to be out
and about, I’m supposed to be chffing retired!
Might pop up to the market later, don’t need much but it passes
on some time :)
Probably out with the village tonight.

Morning all. Still in Blackpool, blowing a tail end of a
hurricane! Raised a few glasses to my old parsimonious friend

Hi Chaps, not a very nice day at all, 16c feels a lot cooler
with strong winds and heavy showers so cant do owt. got footy
with Dave later so that's the highlight of my day. Have a nice

Hi guys, our temps seem to be stuck around the low 30s

We had a great time with the village last night, there was a
fiesta on in town and the place was jumping 8)
Usual Saturday for me, Tai Chi, shopping then chilling………

G'day, fellas. Pretty nice here. Yes pies on me tonight, Vince,

magical... the idea of a group getting together like that.
Brilliant. We live in our own little pockets here: day to day
without a boo to our neighbours although I'll always say hey to
whoever. Propped the spade near the weeds today... theyre

Hi all, was deliberating to book the turkey and tinsel week in
November? Pros are it’s the anniversary of when we met, lights
are on and it’s cheaper than now. Also probably save money on
house heating etc! Cons are it’ll be cold and I’m not sure I can
handle another week with a hotel that looks like the boarding
lounge for paradise airlines flight 666 to heaven! All these
octogenarians are touchy freely and I’m considered quite a
toyboy catch. Oh well plod on gilbo, have a good day all
