Need opinion on banks

Okay, so a remark was made today that I assume was in jest but
it really got me to thinking.
Should we have quest item banks? Dragonlord bank controlled by a
certain general that is questing hard for these items already.
Runes and shards controlled by yet another general that has
gained these items through hours of dedicated farming, and of
course warden through frozen controlled by yet another general
or beloved chief that is just too lazy to do it all himself. We
would of course keep the standard bank with pages, covers, etc.
These banks would give quest items to highest level person
needing them and assuming this person was active in gaining
items or will be a vital asset to us.
I have people in mind for banks that can be trusted so don't ask
to be one of the banks.
These people are already doing the aforementioned jobs and just
don't realize it.
It would also prevent one person from running away with all of
the gear should they decide to leave. Not that it would happen
because I trust my generals, that's why they are generals.

My time in invictus gave me an idea. They had 3 banks. One for
quest items. One for pages and skill books. And the last for
jewelry.

I like the idea reg. One problem is that it would make donating
items a bit more complicated (rather than just giving them to
one char). However, we could have the bank char names and
descriptions in clan message (to make mailing items to them
easier) and also who controls each char in the clan message (so
we're not always asking you).

Donating is simple. Give everything o puffin bank and he will
pass on to generals.
When you need quest item any general should be able to tell you
who to talk to for each quest.
We are trying to simplify this for me, for generals and most of
all you guys.
Puffin bank will handle pages and jewelry atm. that much should
be manageable by one person.
So far I have all generals buying into this except one and that
because I havent asked yet.
When I do ask I will post here which general will take which
items.
