Next time, I'm going to name him Chub Chub, in a different
language, or call him Hamtoru, which is hamster in Japanese.

I've always wanted to name one of my pets Potsticker. I like
potstickers. That was going to be Humphrey's name then NOPE my
sister wanted him to be Humphrey and her hammy had just passed
away so I let her :3

x3 alright, do, now, I can tell you the story of the great Harry
Houdini, except, Houdini in this case, is my hamster Harvey.
So, it's 3:30 am, and I hear some water bottle crackle, think
nothing of it, and continue browsing wcrpg. Then, I hear some
noise, and I go look in to see Harvey, and the lid to his cage
was left open. I was like oh shit.! Because, Harvey can climb
motherf****** bars, so I know he's in my room loose. I almost
cry, since, I love my baby. But I like barge into my parents
room, shake my mom awake, since, my dad doesn't really like him,
and she's like WHAT?! Then storms into my room trying to find
him. I start tearing apart my closet, which, btw is a total,
total tornado. So, by 3:45, we're about to give up, and, my mom
does, she gets back into her room, while, I'm checking out my
closet again, BOOM I see a flash of white go around the other
door, since mine slide, and I find naughty, naughty, Harvey, I
scream "I FOUND YOU, YOU RODENT!" The, both of my parents now
peak inside, mom comes in and snatches him, "Harvard Wellington!
You gave us the scare of our lives!" I nod agreeing, setting
back inside his cage, WITH THE LID CLOSED AND LOCKED, so no more
escapede hamsters. Then, I stare at him shaking my head, saying
naughty, naughty, naughty. Harvey, next time you do that, I'm
feeding you to the cat.
But, of course I didn't mean it. So... Puddin, do you have any
tips on how to keep him contained?

These are all the things I've done trying to keep hamsters
contained:
1: Put a book on top of it's cage, if it opens from the top.
Scamper was muscle hamster and lifted the roof all the time
though. The ceiling can't hold her. xD
2: Try to bribe them to stay in their cage by giving em yummies
like carrots and stuff. Doesn't really work but I liek to think
it does.
3: Duct tape remodeling. This worked with Humphrey for about two
days. Then he chewed through 7 layers and was out again.
4: Stick em in the closet with the door closed nice and tight
with no space between the bottom and the carpet. Exceppppppt,
one little guy named Humphrey chewed up the carpet and parts of
the door to escape again.
5: New cage. This one works rather well, I think. DON'T BUY
CRITTERTRAIL CAGES THEY SUUUUUCK. The ones with the fancy tubes
and plastic are the easiest to escape from.
