The tom never meant it. Grammarpaw was only collecting herbs,
and happened to stray across the border. But now that he was
here he might as well look for the herbs he couldn't find in
ShadowClan. The medicine cat apprentice followed the scent of a
patch of catmint a few foxlengths away. How could he avoid such
a plentiful supply of that tasty-smelling plant?

Queenpaw was doing the same thing, except she wasn't trespassing
on any territories. She yawned, clamping tightly to the borage
in her mouth. Though, one thing over came the scent of borage,
and that was ShadowClan. She simply put on a smile and trotted
over to the scent. [b]"Hello~?"

He let out a small hiss of surprise as he was found digging up
clumps of catmint to take back to his Clan. "I can explain.."

head to the side. "Especially when its pretty obvious that
you're collecting herbs."

sure it wasn't going to work. "I-- my Clan is.. so sick.. with
um.. Greencough. And we need catmint. But it's not in our
territory." He bowed his head in 'sorrow', but even he couldn't
help snickering under his breath at the lame excuse. He sighed.
"I mean, sorry, it was an accident. Didn't mean to leave
ShadowClan."

"You know, that could've been more believable if you made it
believable. Instead of saying its not in your territory, say its
in a dangerous part of your territory with twolegs surrounding
it and stepping on it, so its not safe anyways. And don't slow
down when you're making a lie, or else I can tell you're
thinking it up on the spot." she grinned, straightening her

"Oh, hun, I couldn't hurt a mouse. Though, I can easily chase
you off the territory and tell everyone in my Clan that the
ShadowClan medicine cat apprentice is a dirty, stealing little
liar." she giggled.

Queenpaw flicked the tip of her bandaged tail, continuing to
smile. "Alright, how about I let you keep a bit of the catmint,
but you promise to..." she looked up, trying to think of a good
idea. "Lets see..." hunt for her? Nah. Help her gather herbs? No
way! What could he do? [b]"How about you help negotiate here."
