       League Overview

       Welcome to the P-Town's Association forum page. I'm just going
       to go over a few things to help you get started.
       The League:
       It will be the shortened 58 game NBA season, there is 15 GM's
       who all control two teams (one West, one East), if someone is
       inactive for over a week without notifying me (The Commissioner)
       they will receive a warning PM. I want active GM's that will
       enjoy checking player stats, making trades, drafting players and
       making off-season changes. If you are going to be unavailable
       for a bit (either a week or two) let me know and I'll look after
       them, tell me who is off limits for trading and how you want
       them to run and I'll take care of them until you get back.
       GroupMe App
       Please join the group me app, this is where we can discuss
       anything about the league in an open forum. It also makes
       discussing trades a heap easier and you and brag about how good
       your team/s are going here.

       Plans on Simming:
       I plan to sim approximately one month every week and will have
       weekly game updates about 4-5 days a week. Updates will include
       player stats, injuries, Player of the Week award, ect. Keep up
       with the updates and adjust your lineup accordingly and success
       in the league will be tremendous.
       Injuries
       Every player starts injury free in this league.
       They will be updated in the Injury Report section after every
       week of simming, some lasting a couple days, others even an
       entire season. If you suffer an injury I will PM you to make you
       aware of it, but please check this yourself as well just in case
       I have missed one.
       Team Pages
       Each team will have their own page that includes their own team
       stats, scores, ect. These will be updated weekly (real time)
       ON MOBILE VERSION, NOT ALL STATS ARE VISIBLE UNTIL DEVICE IS
       ROTATED SIDEWAYS
       Also, GMs are required to maintain your team's trade block,
       current draft picks and rotations and make sure they are
       up-to-date consistently. Refer to template to build this page
       ALL GMs MUST BUILD THIER ROTATION PAGE
       Standings
       Will be updated after every Sim week
       League Leaders
       Updated after each sim month
       Player Trading
       You are free to trade in four different trading windows. One
       being at the very beginning of the year, another at the trade
       deadline, and two others spaced out between the two. Each window
       lasts exactly 24 hours and when both GM's agree to a trade
       please PM me with both GM's added with the details of the deals.
       Although it is not banned, trading to the other team you are
       controlling is discouraged and any trade may vetoed by myself.
       Transaction Reports
       I will be posting all the signings and trades that happen in our
       league.
       Trading Block
       If you want to trade a player, please place them in trade block
       on your team page.
       Free Agents
       If you want sign a free agent firstly look at the Free Agent
       pool and then start a new post to bid on the player.
       Once a Free Agent receives a contract offer, he is on the clock.
       Other GM's plus the first bidder will have 24 hours to make
       offers, the best offer will receive the player. The best offer
       will be decided by the commissioner's algorithm, all things like
       money, contract length, team, players desires will be taken into
       account when the team is chosen.
       Player Ratings
       I have done away with the overall numbers that 2k gives each
       player and instead the GMs are given nothing, but stats. Because
       numbers never lie right?
       However, much like the 2k game updates ratings when players are
       playing well, as will I. Because when Marcus Thornton is for
       some reason putting up 25 PPG, his rating should go up from a 75
       to at least a 78.
       Salary Cap
       The salary cap is set to a hard $85 million. You cannot go over
       that. If you are already over that you might need to work out
       some trades to get under for the offseason to be able to sign
       new players. Remember this when it comes to resigning your young
       stars or players coming out of contract. Don't be giving players
       like Brendan Haywood or Kendrick Perkins $14 million a season it
       will come back to haunt you.
