Uh. Questions and stuff.

Does anyone here have any knowledge about models/modeling
programs?
I know MMD is a well known thing among most game/3d editors..
But eh, for example, stuff like 3ds max & 4d cinema?
*probably a huge nerd for asking, but oh well*

A free one is blender, which I was learning to work with for a
while. @__@ I've been taking a break to focus on my drawing art
instead. Other than that I haven't had the chance or money to
experiment with anything fancy.

Oh, I've never heard of that one before!
I tried out Poser for a while when Dead Fantasy was a hype...
Since it was what Monty Oum used :P
I currently rediscovered I have 3ds max in my backup folder and
a few high poly models from KH... Though I have no idea how to
use the program any more:p

I haven't learned how to do weighting/bones or animation in
blender yet since I was experimenting more with modeling and
changing stuff. (it was also necessary to use for some stuff I
wanted to do with MMD models) I don't think it'd be too bad to
learn with already built models, though.

Yeah... It's not half bad, I remember some steps vaguely, but I
can't remember how to put the textures inside and I'm missing
some of the steps for making the bones...
For now I can only import the model and stare at it with sad
eyes.

I can tell you how to get the texture on in blender later
tonight(when I can access my desktop) bones are a little more
complicated and you'd probably have to find a video tutorial.
After bones is weighting the model to the bones, then animation.
If you're just looking to get something into MMD, you don't need
to do the bones in a 3D program. (animating in a 3d program also
tends to be much more complicated than MMD, from what I've
noted. @__@)

Lol, naah, it's okay <3
Ugh, MMD makes my pc incredibly slow and even though it's...
well, relatively easy to use, it just doens't work for me xD 3d
programs are more complicated, yes, but at least they do alright
with my pc.
blender would just be another program on my pc taking space,
though i do really appreciate your offer <3
I think I'll stick with 3ds and find some tutorials when I'm not
so tired anymore xD

That's still a good idea. I wish you luck!

ooh! XNALara is an amazing program! :D I made this render with
it! (Sorry I had to upload the image since the file size was too
big)

Oh! I was just about to suggest XNALara but Sora beat me to it.
Other than that I really do not know of many others. I use
Milkshape 3d for Sims 2 poses and such, but it isn't too good
for models to this extent.
