       Sony Vegas Help Needed
By: AnkokuShadows Date: May 31, 2013, 4:44 am

Okay, I've had this problem ever since I first installed Vegas,
it's not a big deal but it does get rather annoying. Basically,
after rendering a video, the first two seconds have no sound, so
I need to leave a two second gap before my videos start which I
then have to get rid of using YouTube's trimming feature. Like I
said, not a big deal but rather irritating having to mess around
with all that. Can anyone offer me any advice?

Hm, that's funny. I sometimes get the same problem myself, but
usually the problem with audio is at the end of the video, not
the start. I'm not sure what causes it or how to fix it, though.

yeah, what Rosie said happens to me quite often.
I don't know if it might work or you but I once saw a video
that claimed to solve this problem (it doesn't for me). If you
render in .wmv, when you click render and you can choose the
formats, there is a "Custom..." button right next to it. Click
that and change the Mode in the Audio tab to "Quality VBR" and
it should work. I don't know i there is a solution to this for
the other formats and as I said it's not working for me at all,
but maybe it will solve your problem

@Mizzy, thanks for the suggestion. I tried it but it didn't work
       for me either, unfortunately.

See if all your audio and video players are up to date? It might
simply be an outdated codec... Or just go and download k lite
codec pack? That helped me a bunch...

@France Thank you so much! You were right XD I feel really silly
for not thinking of that myself
