8DD Because of time differences, I got the epicness on my
birthday.
The voooooices. Just.... wow.
I'm still spazzing out a little. VANITAS' LAUGH. OH GOD YES.
I'm loving Terra's voice now Christian Bale seems to be going
for it a bit more. Like... in the first trailer he sounded
pretty bored and flat, but now it's totally different. <3
And I'm even starting to get used to Aqua's.
Plus I really loved Lea and Isa. And Zaaaaaaaack, who sounds the
same pitch wise, but the line doesn't just sound like a complete
copy of the original like it did in Japanese. Seriously, you
could put them right up against each other and it was exactly
the same tone, speed, etc, as Crisis' Core's.
And, you're right, Aqua's reaction seems to be more of a "um...
hell no." Poor Zack.
Don't be silly, Aqua, he's cuuuuuute! And he's taller than you,
which is a bit of a novelty. Since the only other guy her age
who seems to be taller is Terra.
...I giggled hearing Riku's voice, I must admit.
I THINK that's a boy... or a quite convincing girl.

Sadly Rosie I think Riku is a girl in this. Mostly because
getting young male voice actors is apparently extremely hard,
and the only convincing ones (for young boys) end up being girls
in the end. Really. The FMA actors at a Sakura-Con panel
(something to do with the major badguys of FMA, Envy, Greed, and
that poor one girl who got chimerized with her dog against Ed,
or something, with Vic showing up randomly to comment...boy was
that amusing!) were talking about it. Amazingly enough it
appears as if Video Game voice overs pay a helluva lot more than
anime...pity that.
Although they did mention the rare young-ish and not young-ish
boys actually doing convincing boy voices. I still find it
rather amusing that apparently guys can't do a convincing
child-boy voice. And sad. Really sad.
