       i've tripped so many times i couldnt begin to count them.  when
       i was a wee lad i used to go to the dead shows.  not to see
       jerry and the gang, but to score acid from the hairy legged
       hippy chicks.   me and my buds would drive to philly, score a
       bottle of liquid. then we'd each do a heavy hit, and try to get
       back to wilmington before we were too trashed to make it.  we
       always failed, and yet we always made it home somehow without
       crashing.
       also, i used to have a friend of a friend who lived in arizona.
       he used to fed ex me a QP of freeze dried shrooms about once a
       month.  eventually, i overdosed.  i was catatonic for 4 hours.
       scared the crap outta my 1st wife and my little sis.  that was
       the last time i tripped.  it was my 2nd overdose (valium 1st
       time) it was my 21st  birthday.  after that i calmed down alot.
       just weed, alchohol and occasionally, some dust, when i could
       get it.
       it just occurred to me i've never had a flashback.  not that i
       WANT  one,  but you'd figure many times as i've tripped it
       woulda happened at least once.  otoh,  i was hallucinating long
       before drugs anyhow, so maybe that's why.
