The groups of the Academy (detailed)
By: rsilverblood Date: May 10, 2012, 6:22 pm
       ---------------------------------------------------------
The Academy is divided into six groups:
       - Headmaster of the Academy
       - Academy Council
       - Professors of the Inner Circles
       - Professors of the Communal Area
       - Assistant Professors
       - Students
Each one has duties and rights.
       - Headmaster of the Academy
Purpose: To administrate content, and to oversee the whole
Academy. To be the buffer between the Council Members,
Professors and Students, and in between themselves.
Rights: Can do whatever is necessary for the best of the group.
Assigns new Professors, promotes Professors, and Council
Members. Also removes them. Can also ban students.
Duties: Take care of the group, the purpose of the group, and
oversee the whole Academy and guarantee it’s function to the
best of his performance. Can also have to deal with certain
astral threats, if the council is not ready to deal with them.
(one council member may be appointed to be a vice to the
Headmaster in his or her absence)
Note: The Vice to the Headmaster is to be an assistant to the
Headmaster, in doing what the Headmaster does not have time to
do. This means, mostly, being a buffer between the Students to
the other groups. Can also mean banning students.
       - Academy Council Members
Purpose: To allow students interested to be admitted into the
Inner Circles, and according to their understanding, competence,
intention and thirst for knowledge, to be promoted to higher
circles if they so desire. Also to act on all issues the
Headmaster should not have to deal with. Meetings are to occur
in regular intervals, with a maximum time duration of each
meeting. Meeting logs are to be held in the Council Forum. Also
to allow or disallow new lessons from being publicated on the
       official lessons of the Academy.
Rights: To promote students to Inner Circles, and to ban
students. To evaluate and review classes, and remove them if
necessary. Votes are held to decide this. ALL Council members
       have one vote.
Duties: To make sure only the appropriate students are allowed
access into the Inner Circles. If necessary, to take
measurements to correct damage done, in astral, in case of abuse
of such knowledge. ALL Council members have the duty to be in
Council meetings. Council members who regularly disregard
Council meetings, without previous warning, or without
explanation for some time will be suspended. The Council will
decide what to do with suspended Council members (whether to
re-activate them, or to remove them from the Council
altogether). This does not apply to the Headmaster, if he is the
       current Chairman.
Note: Chairman Academy Council Member has the tie breaking vote.
The tie breaking vote passes to Vice-Chairman if Chairman is
absent. Both Chairman and Vice-Chairman have one vote, as normal
       Council members.
       - Professors of the Inner Circles
Purpose: To carefully provide meaningful, easy to understand,
and direct classes to the students that can wisely use deeper
knowledge. (more specific knowledge that shouldn’t be public,
       due to possible misuse)
Rights: To teach and publish lessons in the Inner Circle
designated to them, in what they are competent at.
Duties: To make sure each and every lesson is crafted to
perfection. Also to assign competent and skilled students with
teaching skills to be Assistant Professors, when the formal
       professor is absent.
       - Professors of the Communal Areas
Purpose: To carefully provide meaningful, easy to understand,
and direct classes to the ALL students, in the designated
       communal area (public).
Rights: To teach and publish lessons in the Communal Area, in
       what they are competent at.
Duties: To send all lessons to the Academy Council for approval,
and publishing. Also to assign competent and skilled students
with teaching skills to be Assistant Professors, when the formal
       professor is absent.
(In case the content is dangerous, or potentially dangerous,
than you might be offered a chance to join an Inner Circle, or
       possibly to become a professor.)
       - Assistant Professors
Purpose: To assist students with the lessons. Not to teach, per
se. They are assigned for each lesson or area, according to
their knowledge. They act as “tech support” for students when
the formal professor is not online in the chat room. (it is good
that do not share the same time for using the internet, if
       possible)
Rights: To assist the professor in his or her lesson, for every
       lesson they are assistants in.
Duties: To be on the chat room as much as possible, for
assisting people in learning their lessons.
       - Students
Purpose: To learn all they are interested in. Access to certain
knowledge is in the Inner Circles, and is allowed under certain
       situations.
Rights: To access all knowledge that is public, and to access
all knowledge of the Inner Circles which the student in question
       has access to.
       Duties: None.
IMPORTANT: All people, in all groups, are not limited to one
function. Professors can be Students. Headmasters can be
Professors. Students can be Assistant Professors. Council
       Members can be Students. Etc.
