       Summoning and Communicating with Spirits

       Each spirit has a unique spirit name, as unique as the soul
       frequency or the essence inside. A spirit's name is as unique as
       a user name on a computer system.
       Through invoking a spirit's name, one can summon a spirit.
       However, not all answer the summoning request. Also, when
       summoning a spirit, have something to offer as a reward for
       answering your call, be it energy, objects, or something else of
       value for them to call theirs from that point on.
       Spirits always want more, and will do very much what is in their
       grasp to get more through legitimate ways.
       TIP: NEVER, ever, EVER use solomonian magick to summon a spirit.
       It is one of the sure ways you can become hunted and hated in
       the astral.
       Communicating with spirits is tough on average. It takes a keen
       astral projector, or a truly sensitive person to hear spirits.
       Without this skill, astral projection is little more than an
       amusing toy.
       It is always best to communicate with spirits as an equal, or as
       them as a superior. Treating a spirit as an inferior is a sure
       way to anger them and guarantee they will not help.
       Spirits come in all personalities, all forms, all types of
       voices, races, and anything else you can imagine. They are the
       most diverse bunch one could ever imagine. Some spirits will be
       sexy, some will be stoic, some will be keen, others may be
       idiots... some may be clumsy, some may be nimble... all
       characteristics are pretty much random when dealing with an
       unknown spirit.
       One problem I have been dealing with recently is fake spirits
       taking over a link, and pretending to be the spirit. It is hard
       to detect, and so far the only way I know to get it to work is
       to cut off links periodically, and reconnect them. Or, to trace
       the link to where it is. Another tip is to see if the
       personality of the spirit talking is the same as the personality
       of the spirit you are trying to reach.
       Also, be careful of "too" friendly spirits. All of them have
       their own interests, and there is no free lunch in the astral.
       Beware of spirits trying to use you, as some will lay traps for
       you. Do research on each spirit before you get to summoning him
       or her.
       The best kind of relationship with spirits is that of mutual
       respect. With this, you establish a good relationship where both
       sides can flourish. Never overstep your boundaries with spirits.
       Just as people, they too have limits, and avoiding those limits
       is best.
