Map Rules

---------------------------------------------------------
These rules must be followed when you are in any of
XxEclipsedSunxX's maps, or in any maps made for PoTC.
Chat Rules
- Local Chat is used strictly for Role-Playing. Do not talk
randomly while in local, or to your friends unless it is in RP
mode (aka IC --In Character-- Mode). Do not attempt to RP out
something as stupid as this --- "-She walked up to her friend-
"Hi Fortworth96! How are you?" -She asked joyfully-" --- Be
serious. The guardian(s) of your Clan are ALWAYS watching and
logging what you do on a report. They will know and inform me,
and other guardians from other Clans, which members are doing
that smart-ass'd RP style.
- General Chat is used strictly for MODs and Leaders. Do not
talk in General to say "Hello!" to someone, or welcome someone
back. Ask for directions by whispering a Leader, a MOD or
XxEclipsedSunxX; Do NOT use General for this. Leaders can only
use general if they are announcing a Prophecy that was told to
them by their Medicine Cat (that was told to their medicine cat
by a MOD in StarClan) or if they are waging battle on another
Clan. MODs can only use general if they are making important
announcements that affect the RP's well-being or if they are
alerting members to another member's new strike (or telling a
member to leave the RP).
- Group Chat is used strictly for RPing when your Clan Mates are
away, or talking randomly with your Clan. You do not have to be
fully restrained in Group Chat, seeing as only your Clan is
seeing what you are saying. If your leader tells you to be
serious though, you must follow their command without question
and buckle down.
- Party Chat is used strictly for Border Patrols and Hunting
Parties.
- Whisper Chat is used for talking with your friends or cats
from other Clans. Even goofing off is allowed in whisper! This
is also used if a Guardian spots you within range of their
Clan's territory and tells you to turn around and go back to
your own camp unless you have actual business to attend to that
involves speaking with the LEADER of the Clan you are visiting.
You will be given a warning (followed by a strike if you do it
again) if you choose to wander on to another Clan's territory
without a good reason.
For those of you wondering "What's a guardian?" after reading
this, I will explain it:
A guardian is a MOD that has been assigned to a specific Clan
due to their personality traits and level of discipline. The
harder a Clan is to control, the more strict of a guardian there
is to represent it and to aid the leader in controlling it.
Guardians are ALWAYS present, even if they aren't on their
look-out perches. Guardians have been trained to be able to spot
the slightest movement near the camp they are protecting. They
also commonly have assigned Demi-Guardians that patrol the
territory constantly to find intruders. The slightest movement
could give you away. If you block a Guardian or Demi-Guardian to
slip by them, you will be given TWO automatic strikes. You
cannot block these MODs. Make sure you whisper your leader when
you enter the territory or you will be met by an unfriendly
whisper (possibly followed by a confrontation before you can get
in to the camp) unless the Guardian and Demi-Guardians know you
and your coloration. The guardians are there to do what their
name implies. They cannot be battled with in RP, or spoken down
to. They are immortal, like StarClan and are meant to keep their
Clan safe from harm and in check. If a leader wants a war to be
waged between their Clan and another Clan, they MUST inform the
Guardian of their Clan first. The Guardian will consult with the
other Guardian (without that guardian alerting their Clan) to
decide whether or not the battle is necessary.
In-Map Rules
Map rules are actually covered by many other sets of
rules throughout this RP. The chat rules listed above cover a
slight part of said rule-list.
