Hey guys, Chips here...I hope some of you remember me anyway :)
I...have a proposition, it involves the community coming back
together to help me on this, since it's a little bit of a strain
on my behalf, but I'm willing to do it provided I have you guys
backing me.
...I want to 'resurrect' PR, hopefully with the same map, same
ranks and everything etc. Just with me owning it instead of
ro4ch. Obviously, this means the money would be kindaaaaa coming
out of my pocket instead of his, but I'd be willing to place my
money down if I can get the guarantee of a little help from you
guys.
So...what I need first is backing from people. If you know
anyone from the old community, send them this topic and spread
the word that PR may get a second life.
Second thing I need is for anyone with a previous rank to
comment here, and say that they want to keep that rank and are
willing to continue their job on the new server. I'll make a
checklist below of who I need.
Third and possibly the most important thing I need...are
donations :-\ Let me put it this way, if TEN people donated $5
each, I'd have $50 dollars toward the setting up of a new
server. The most money I'm willing to put toward the server
myself, is $60. So, we may start off a little smaller than
before, but not to worry, we'll build ourselves up again.
To get supporter rank will cost a $10 donation every time the
payment on my end is due, and I'll keep track of those who do
and don't pay for their rank. Sorry but...I'm a student, gotta
monitor my costs ;)
As of now there is nowhere to pay money in to. If this
proposition gets enough backing, then I will open up a paypal
account for donations. If you are going to donate, just say you
want to and how much you want to give :) it's a community
revival, trust me, I'm not scamming you for money XD :)
So, yeah...I'm being dead serious about this guys. Spread the
word to your friends from the community and maybe I can get the
server we all love back :) I'd hate to see the community die.

Ill do the mod business for you, I've had over 2 years
experience as a moderator (im mod on another server too) so I'd
say I could do pretty well. and for advertising, I can help with
that.

Do you by chance know any modders? Money from donations to the
mod makers can be used for the server and we can advertise on
there too
