*Cough Cough* Your taking what I said the wrong way Fire. Sorry
bout' that but with crappy internet, minecraft not liking me and
my computer not liking me, I can't even build. It takes forever
for the items to get placed (internet) and barely anyone goes on
when i'm on so I get off and come back half an hour later. But
no one is on. I get bored with collecting items and no one to
chat too. (Because i'm a lonely girl and all my friends live far
away from me...)
Too tell you the truth, I don't even think that there is a use
for me to be mod anymore. No one comes on from my timezone. Me
and Emso are the only people from my city that I know go on PR
so yeah. If you do demote me Please don't though D: then I have
to figure out how to get my mum make me supporter again...

I didn't take it the wrong way at all if anything I feel a
little bit insulted that you feel we have changed maps "4 times
this year alone" and you don't want to build since you feel you
will lose everything....even though we have had the same
creative map since maybe march or april? I could be wrong but I
know for a fact it has been at least 4-5 months or more. Which
tells me you have no respect for all the work I have put in to
keep the map going or else you would have noticed we have had
the creative map for that long.... :-\ You also intimate that
your not on much or can't be on much due to limitations and or
being bored and when you do come on you don't even do that much
so why remain a mod? A mod should be active and trying to get
people on an be a big part of the community so people have fun
and can know that people care on the server.
am I really wrong on any of this?

Just a little. You see due to my limitations, I can't get on
very much and when I do, no one is even on. I try to go and do
stuff and my internet decides to become crap and it laggs like
hell and I get bored waiting for my computer to respond. I'm
trying and trying to do stuff. Lately, I've been trying to build
a house thinking 'Meh, If I loose it or not, its just a game'
since I lately had some experience with my classmates griefing
people's worlds on LAN....
But really, I'm sorry for offending you Fire and feel free to
demote me if you want. But I am trying to get on and convince my
mum to get me a better computer but we barely even have money to
do things. We are lucky enough to have cheap internet.

Well, it's apparent there are some problems... I have been gone
for quite a while as well, but yeah, there is merely that real
community feeling left. :/
I don't think the main problem is the map changes or else, it's
just that there are too view offers for people to do something,
the server just "is there" - but there is nothing special or
exciting about it, no community projects, zero... you could as
well play Singleplayer, the effect and fun would be about the
same. All offers that there are (chips labyrinth, wwolfes
machines and such) take 5 minutes and done...
The new RP is a good starting point to get people involved, so
keep that.
I'd suggest:
- PvP arena and other areas where people can meet and play games
together. A jumping/parcours course, a shooting stand...
challenges.
- Monthly build contest. Don't limit it to a hall like we did
before, but let everyone build it anywhere. Give out a theme and
a price. People can build in groups or alone, if they decide to
do group work, they'll have to share the price.
- Community build projects like Chips did them.
- Use the f*****ng Teamspeak server. Skype is anonymous and you
just get in touch with the people you are friends with. It
excludes the usual players. If the admins (you guys are the
trendsetters, if you use it, all others will, too!) - TS just
unites ppl, because you can simply talk to each and everyone
online. Last time I'll mention this, otherwise imma take it down
soon - I dont need to throw money out the window.
- As said, you are the trendsetters - if you have a strong Mod
community (which I feel there is not) you'll have a strong
community in general. People need leading figures, and there is
none really apparent atm.
Sorry if this comes across harsh. It's my personal opinion and
my feelings, I hope you don't simply throw them aside and say
they are wrong - aspects might be unjustified from your point of
view, but it's what I feel like - and those feelings aren't
there from nothing, some things need to change. I still care
about PR, that's why I write this...

I agree with Para but the main reason i'd say people are leaving
is Because of one HUGE Factor. One Person leaves, they get Busy
and such and then its a chain reaction, ill go join him/her or I
wonder if he's playing a different game.
Fire ive been speaking to Pan about some Advertising for the
server and so far we have received i think 3 or 4 new players
that have stuck around.
And, Anyone else think Jackhammer should be on. Im slowly
concinving him and Shllige

No. Jackhammer has caused problems from when I was
moderator/builder and he was builder he also said the server was
crap, Fire can tell you aswell

Well I want to calm this thread down and get it to be about
action more than arguments or discussion that goes no where.
So my advice to everyone is get off your butts (when you can)
and build build build, if it's fun then build it! Got an idea
for a massive project and want 10 people to help? build it! The
only way the server can get turned around is if people are
active (as much as they can be) and create things that make the
server fun and interesting. The server can only pick it's self
up if the community it's self does it. Only problem is I won't
be around to over see it since my internet time is just about
up.
What para touched on are true points and is a starting point for
turning things around so if you guys want a better server then
it is time to put in work to make PR sexy again or just let it
die and let new people take it over.....

Well I personally think we should start getting some new ideas.
Bring the server back to its great days if you know what i mean.
Also i think a lot of people have been leaving lately. We are
getting new people but its not really the same with some of the
old time members who we've all been missing so much. But yeah i
think some new ideas might help get new people to stay and keep
the old members around :D.

Mstr (and partly me) remade the connect four machine to give a
starting point... I'm going to try and add more and more fun
activities at the area there, so we get kind of like a fun park
or something at the end, for people to go and play games...
