Forum Policy
Spam
There is to be no spamming about the forums. This is
intolerable.
What is spamming on the forums?
Spamming on the forums are unnecessary posts on the forum, such
as one word posts like "lol" or emoticon(s) only. It is also
considered spam to post something irrelevant to the subject. For
example, if the subject is about an in-game bug, it would be
considered spam to reply "I like forums" or something like that.
Seems ridiculous, but there are always forum users like that.
The Act of Double-Posting (or Triple Posting, etc)
Double posting is not tolerated. It increases the flooding of
the forum. Double posting is tolerated only if absolutely
necessary. There are few circumstances that you are allowed to
double-post.
What is double-posting?
Double-posting is posting twice in a row on the same topic. A
good rule of thumb is to never "reply to your reply" and then
you'll be fine.
Offensive/Abusive/Vulgar Language
There shall be no language that may be considered, verbally
violent, offensive, or overly vulgar. There are absolutely no
exceptions for this. Saying "it was just a joke" won't fly. You
must be respectful to all members of the forum regardless of any
situation.
There are also more outlets to this rule. Speaking negatively
about political figures, religion, or religious figures is
considered offensive language and is mutable. Maturely
discussing religion, politics, etc. is 100% accepted (and
encouraged!) But making fun of figures could offend players that
may support that religion/politic. Please be very delicate when
talking about these things.
If you are a victim of offensive, racist or otherwise
inappropriate actions or language on the forum, contact a staff
member immediately and action will be taken.
Inappropriate Material
Posts that contain videos or pictures of pornographic content,
overly swearing language, or otherwise considered inappropriate
are not allowed. The post will be removed and action will be
taken on one/all of your forum accounts.
Advertisement of Server/Website
Advertising your server or website will lead to an immediate
IP-ban of your account, and possibly in-game. First time
offenders will be given no mercy.
What if I say "Come check out my YouTube channel/Facebook
account/etc?"?
This is completely fine. The only thing we do not tolerate is
the advertisement for business, server, or other type of
advertising tool that you do not pay for. We want to make sure
if you make an account, you really want to make an account, not
just here to spam.
Privacy
We ensure every member that registers a right to privacy of any
personal details. This means if you are ever privately messaged
on the forum, you may only share it to the publicity of Project
Jagex if they specifically ask you to. If you do not follow this
rule, you will be banned.
Discussing Violations
Most of what you say on the forum is free to the public.
However, discussing instances or future instances about breaking
In-Game Rules is completely prohibited. This is basically
evidence and a staff member has permission to take action on
your account for saying something like "I used a bot for that
skill". This is not allowed, especially if you give the name/a
link to the bot that you are using because it highly encourages
other players to do the same.
Staff/Person Impersonation
If you ever attempt to impersonate another person on the forums,
you will be banned. This is because you could send out a false
reputation of someone or enforce somebody to do the wrong thing
if you pretend to be staff.
Administration
Any member of Prestige Unlimited staff has the right to ban,
mute, or provoke privileges if it is felt ethical and necessary.
If you feel that a staff member is abusing his or her power,
contact one of the owners and they will objectively and fairly
handle the situation.
