       Great Worlds

Absolutely love the worlds that you all have been adding so far.
Really makes me jealous of your creativity. My homebrew world
right now is nothing more than a starting town. My players will
be from this city and never have traveled outside the area won't
know much of the larger world. So I can pretty much make crap up
as we discover them. Makes it a lot easier for me to just get
the bare bones of what I need to start an adventure.
I most likely won't even have a fully developed pantheon at the
start of the game. Just a few gods that are worshipped in their
       area.

The greatest journey begins with a single step! :D

Yeah man, that's how I started as well. Just a local area that
grew and grew after time. Now that I've started my campaign I
have so much more fuel for details and intricacies that I
wouldn't have thought of on my own. It's amazing what other
perspectives will do for your creativity.
It's also amazing what PC decisions will do to force you to go
to places you never dreamed of :) but those are sometimes the
       best moments.

Honestly, most of my games started this way.... Name a town, put
them in it, give them adventures. It isn't a bad way to start.

Yup, that's how I have always started my games; small town, make
up the rest as we go.
For my upcoming game I am waiting to create the pantheon until
after my players come up with their characters. Except for the
god of Death, I know what she is going to be like. :-)
