       Question 14

       ---------------------------------------------------------
In addition to commands regarding outward obedience and
subjection to authority, Paul takes his directive one step
further when he addresses the inward role of the heart ion
submission. He commands us to "love" all people.
       a) What commandments did Paul point out in his admonition to
love, and why do you think he chose these?
       b) How does the command to "love your neighbor" sum up the
commandments he listed and fulfill the law? see also Matthew
       22:36.40
       c) what is one thing you can do to love your neighbor as
       yourself?

       a) You shall not murder, commit adultery, steal, covet
I think Paul intentionally chose these commandments because they
all deal with interpersonal relationships between humanity-
person to person-thinking of others and putting others above
oneself is modeling and showing the same love that Christ showed
for us when He took our sin upon Himself and died in our place.
You cannot commit any of the above listed sins without directly
hurting another person with your actions.
       b) Because when we love our neighbor, we are loving and serving
       God.
       c) Think of others and put their interests before my own. For
example, the government is sending a stimulus check to everyone
whether they need it or not. If I were to think of myself, I
could think of lots of things that I could do with that check.
But if I think of others and how they are going without right
now, I am compelled to give my check to someone who needs it
       more than I do.
