       The Battle of Alderaan--Space

       After the meeting on Coruscant was attacked by Balmorran forces,
       the Alderaanian millitary has been on high alert. Fighters
       constantly patrol the skies, and the planet's fleet of large
       corvettes are stationed in orbit, ready to recieve an attack.
       Should an invasion come, all 100 Northstars can be in orbit of
       the planet within 10 minutes.

       The Alderaanian flagship, Indestructible,  sits in a defensive
       position along with the rest of the fleet. Onboard the bridge,
       Admiral Vikus, the fleet's highest ranking officer, is in
       command.
       "No movement from the enemy ships, sir." says Lieutenant Harson,
       the ship's sensor operator.
       "Very well. Continue to monitor their progress. Jenson," he
       says, turning to the ship's comm officer, who is co-ordinating
       the fleet's activities, "I want the 20 Northstars already in
       orbit to join up with our position. All other fighters are to
       get up here, [i]now.[/I]"
       Down on Alderaan, the fighters, which are now kept ready around
       the clock, are ordered to scramble. The pilots rush out, and
       they immediately take off.

       Captain Harcourt, commander of the Balmorran Starfleet, looked
       up from her displays as her tactical officer called her name.
       "Cap, fighters are launching from the planet."
       "Shields up."
       "Uhh, sir? The Venerates don't have energy shields."
       "Oh..."
