Coruscant Holo Channel

In the presidential palace's situation room, the president of
Coruscant, Vincent Yutin, and many delegates from other branches
of the government, are sitting at a long table. In the middle, a
hologram.
"All right, we have the planets Naboo, Balmorra, Dantooine, and
Alderaan targeted by the relay. Lets see if anyone answers."
Naboo, Balmorra, Dantooine, and Alderaan were the four planets
that Coruscant colony ships went to, a long time ago. They all
agreed that they would be the most likely place to look for
sentient life. Maybe the colonies survived, they thought.
President Yutin takes control of the hologram.
"Hello? Is anybody out there?"

One of the many diplomatic service members who was sitting at a
holocom, watching frequencies for anomalies, noticed a definite
occurrence. He found what appeared to be a message, however it
was very static filled. He was able to clear it up enough to
understand that it was a question. He responded, "Hello. Anyone
there, I can't quite read you fully. Anyone there?" He was
slightly afraid he may be going mad.

The transmission comes back to Coruscant mostly static, but
everyone hears the "hello". Everyone in the room is excited that
contact has been made. A radio operator fine tunes the hologram,
and the message is clearly read. Then, Yutin takes command of it
again.
"Greetings, I am President Vincent Yutin, speaking on behalf of
the planet of Coruscant. Who am I speaking with?"

The diplomat captures the next signal, taking care to try and
refine the receiver he has. It still comes across more static,
but he catches more of it, that the mans last name was Yutin and
he was calling on behalf of Coruscant. He yells to one of the
other diplomats, "Get one of the engineers to refine the
receivers and transceivers! And step on it! We may have another
civilization out there!" Then returning to the com he sends
another message, "Yutin, this is diplomat Arken, of the
Balmorran diplomat service. The signal is being strengthened,
please keep talking so we can get a better signal."
While the diplomat is talking on the com, the message of another
civilization rockets through the building. People scramble to
strengthen signals and receivers, many try to set up a signal to
Plun. While this is happening, others are calling Helfors and
Laresh and send the message to the rest of the people. This
leads to quite a ruckus in the city as well as the surrounding
farm land, as people rush from whatever they were doing towards
the Senate building, a large structure at the center of the city
large enough to fit twice the current population.

"Hello Arken. I know I'm speaking for everyone here when I say
that we're happy to hear from Balmorra."
President Yutin continues to talk to Arken so the diplomats in
Balmorra can refine their signal. He dismisses one of the
delegates to notify everyone in the palace of the first contact,
and he runs off. Just a few minutes later a tsunami of reporters
flood into the room. Everyone is silent as they wait for the
next message to come in from Balmorra.

Refining the signal to near perfect, Arken replies, "I have you
very clear now. Believe me everyone is overjoyed to here form
you too! We will soon have one of our leaders on the comm to
speak with you, until then please say what you will." Helfors
and Laresh are nearing the building, prepared to talk with
whoever else may be out there. Due to a small interference they
are unable to reach Plun on Alderaan currently.

"Very good. Would you care for a brief history of Coruscant
while we wait?"
President Yutin gives an overview of Coruscant's history, and in
detail talks about how Balmorra was a planet which a colony went
to three thousand years ago, along with other things. He
describes the world war between the Coalition and Eastern
Alliance, how the Coalition emerged victorious and
re-established a world order, and pondered why nobody has
decided to contact the lost colonies until now.

"That is most interesting. Our leader Helfors of the Triumvirate
is entering the comm." Then the image on the holo changed to
Helfors (a man with many scars from battles he has led).
He speaks deeply, "Greetings leader of Coruscant. Your planet
has had an interesting history, and the fact that we originate
from your people brings many questions. But first what are you
doing calling over such a noticeable channel?" He was
suspicious, but he had been that way ever since the war had
begun.

"A noticeable channel? I'm sorry, but I'm not quite sure what
you mean. Do you mean by holocom? We thought it would be the
easiest way to check if there was civilization on Balmorra."

Helfors appeared to be satisfied by the answer. He then began,
"Why are you looking for us? Your people left us once before.
Why would you like to reconnect with lost colonies?"
