Oriyomi Hamzat Apologizes to Naira Marley, Lifts Ban on Marlian
       Records Songs at Agidigbo FM
Popular broadcaster Oriyomi Hamzat has officially tendered an
apology to Nigerian singer Naira Marley, announcing that his
radio station, Agidigbo FM, will once again play songs from
Marlian Records after a two-year ban. Eyes Of Lagos reports,
Recall that in September 2024, the broadcaster had placed a ban
on all Marlian Records music following the death of Naira
Marley’s former signee, Mohbad. At the time, Naira Marley and
his associates were heavily accused of being involved in the
       singer’s tragic passing.
However, after his vindication, Oriyomi Hamzat admitted he was
wrong to have judged the singer prematurely. He expressed regret
over the ban and confirmed that Naira Marley’s songs, along with
other Marlian Records tracks, will now be played again on
       Agidigbo FM.
       Fans React to Apology
The broadcaster’s statement has sparked mixed reactions online:
@aderinsolaaaaaa: “I no sure say Ibadan people sabi Marlian
Records like that, when e no be Qdot.”
@Ham_mayour: “Person wey kpai don go niyen, make God no allow
       kpai at young age.”
@therealohola: “E no go better for … wetin be the difference
       between him and Naira Marley?”
@citybvyy: “What about all the damages they made? They just want
to start playing his songs back? Lmao.”
@hashedmystic: “What was his reason for apologizing? Matter is
       not mathing.”
While some applaud Hamzat for retracing his steps, others argue
that the apology cannot erase the damage caused during the
       controversy.
