A little invitation

Siris strolls casually through the town, headed towards the post
office.
"I haven't checked in ages, there'll probably be a ton of
junkmail.."
He sighs, but continues toward his destination.

He wanders inside, standing in line for a few minutes, finally
making it to the front. He asks for his mail, and takes it all
in a bag, beginning to make his way out of the post office
towards home.

Finally home he begins to sort through everything, eventually
happening upon a very recent, official-looking document. He
opens it up and begins to read.
"Dear Siris Wolfe, as a member of the cast you are invited to
the premiere of the latest sequel in the Con Mane franchise,
which will be occurring in Canterlot in approximately five day's
time at the location disclosed at the bottom of this letter.
Your appearance would be appreciated..."
He looks at the date on the letter.
"This was sent two days ago"
He sighs and walks off to fetch a suitcase.
"i should probably start packing.."

Siris checks that he has everything ready to go for tomorrow.
Satisfied he walks to the kitchen to make himself a coffee.
"Oh for the love of...all out.."
He ponders over what he should do for a few moments.
"There IS that late-night cafe in town...eh, whatever i can't be
stuffed. I'll buy some tomorrow"
With that he heads into his study and begins to read over some
books.
