At that moment, Siris awoke atop a few books on the couch,
peering over at the time, grabbing anything he needed and
running out the door.

As he ran, passing under roots and navigating through boulder
fields as he usually did, Siris noticed a few figures following
at the same speed off to the right in amongst the silhouetted
trees; soon deciding to pay them no attention.

He had noticed that the figures had disappeared for a few
minutes now, as he neared the edge of the Everfree.
"I know i really shouldn't temp fate, that would be stupid"
He thinks for a moment.
"Meh, i've done stupider things. Nothing bad could POSSIBLY
happen to me tonight anyway; no, nothing at all"
Absolutely nothing happens as he continues his sprint.

As he spots the edge of the forest in the near distance, Siris
is tackled from his left, feeling the sting of fangs sinking
into his back leg.
"Oh SONOFA!"
He looks up to see a timber wolf, teeth still sunk in as another
circled nearby. Struggling a little, he delivers a blow to his
assailant using his other leg; breaking it into pieces.
"Ow, okay, that was the last thing i wanted tonig-ouch!"
He manages to stand, glaring at the second timber wolf and
barely managing to strike an equal blow to its face, making it
fall in a pile beside the pieces of its friend.
"Alright alright, now i really need to get the heck out of here"
He limps out of the forest, proceeding to bandage himself.

Siris begins limping into town, soon approached by two colts
coming the other way.
C1 "Hey, sir? You look quite a bit like the guy in the trailer
for that Con Mane film coming out in a couple of weeks. You
wouldn't happen to be..."
C2 "He has to be, seriously he almost looks the same. except for
those bandage-wait, what did you do to yourself?"
"Would you believe i got into a knife fight with an angry
bartender? Speaking of bartenders, i seriously need to go meet
some friends"
C2 "Well, could you like, sign this photo here?"
The colt pulls out a photograph which Siris quickly signs.
"There, now i really have to get going; sorry guys"
C1 "Alright, cool. Have a good one"
As he turns away the silence is once again broken by a cry of
help from not far off. Siris turns his head to see smoke
billowing from just over the rooftops.
"For the love of Celestia, why now?"

He sprints down the side street, arriving at the burning housing
block to find someone at the window calling out to those below.
Siris glances at the many faces surrounding the building.
"Well come on, nothing's getting done by standing around..."
realizing that nothing was going to be done til' the fire
department showed up, Siris let out a long-drawn sigh, plunging
into the flames on the bottom floor; managing to blend in quite
well.

He bursts out a few minutes later, carrying a mare and a kitten
on his back, dropping them off at a safe distance.
"Glad to see you're safe ma'am"
M "Oh, Thank you so much!"
She hugs him for a few moments.
"Just helping where i can, now sorry to cut it short but i
REALLY have somewhere i need to be"
He ignores the crowd and nears the bar, managing to retrieve a
kite from a tree, stop a purse thief, return a wallet and catch
a falling painter working on the outside of a shop along the
way. Finally he enters the bar blackened with an injured leg and
two shades of paint splattered on different parts of his body.
