Last night on stage

Siris sits about backstage, awaiting the beginning of the show
dressed in some swim gear. "all right, last night give it all
you got" He said, reading over a few entries in a small journal.

Cheyenne and Rain enter the seating areas, finding their seats
and sitting down, waiting for the show to start.

the lights go up revealing a sand-covered stage with a young
colt staring out as he's approached by a mare, they converse a
while before they hear an old friend arrive back.

Cheyenne watches the show silently, whereas Rain shifts
uncomfortably in his seat.

The mare leaves, and the young colt begins to welcome back the
old friend, moments later the other friends arrive to greet him
themselves. Meanwhile Siris prepares to head out on stage.
"...put on a show, that's what you're here for.." With that said
to himself, he walks out onto the stage to join the group,
uncomfortable about the new arrival.
OF "Who's this?
YC "This is Riptide"
OF "Riptide? No-one's called Riptide"
"I am. Got a problem with that?"
YC "He's from over town..."
The conversation continues, and Siris announces a party he's
holding on Saturday. An argument ensues not much later and
eventually the group splits and heads home.

As soon as the orange stallion steps into the stage lights, Rain
turns to Cheyenne.
R-"That the guy?"
Cheyenne nods silently.
R-"Hmph.."

The lights come up again to a home scene, where Siris is talking
with his Father.
"Plus Mum won't have to worry about beer cans everywhere, or
some guy throwing up in her plants"
F "Not bad, two hooks for her. But what about me?"
Siris laughs, and responds.
"you'll be bored shitless"
F "I'm sold, if we agree on a figure. Now try your mother"
His Mother is called in to the room, they talk for a while
before his Sister too joins them, Siris leaves and the remaining
three burst in to argument. The lights dim down and similar
family scenes play through.

Rain looks around, seeing the audience is rather engaged before
facing the stage and speaking to Chey
R-"People do this for fun, right?"
C-"Oh will you just be quiet and watch? Silently judge or
whatever, some of us are paying attention." she retaliates

Party time, lights dim up. Siris wheels a cart of alcohol on to
the stage and everyone converses, soon most head off to dance
and drink while the Young Colt and The Old Friend stay behind to
talk. The Old Friend soon pushes the Young Colt toward the
dancing.
YC "Mate, i'm going with someone"
OF "Where is she?"
YC "Her olds wouldn't let her come"
OF "If she was that keen she would've come anyway. This mob's
hot, mate. See? Look at her"
YC "They reckon she wants to get onto Riptide"
OF "She's hot, mate. They all are. Go for it. Go, son.."
He pushes the Young Colt again and he complies, heading off to
the dancing.

He is interrupted by a swift hoof landing on his lower jaw,
delivered by Cheyenne
