Abuse of Power

As soon as Nova, Bolt, her Phantoms and the Shade Dragon arrived
back in town, Nova thanked Bolt by tossing him a rather large
ruby for his efforts. She lead them to a small house in town,
she knocked on the door and waited for a response.
A rather aged earth pony answered the door, upon seeing the
menacing dragons behind the pegasus he immediately slammed the
door shut out of fear. Clicks of locks could be heard from
outside.
"Rip his roof off." Nova commanded in Dragon Tongue. The Shade
Dragon was almost as big as the house, so it simply raised its
head and tore away the hay on the rooftop with its mouth.

Bolt snaps down the ruby. Taunting the others as he appeared to
be the favorite. He smiles watching the bigger dragon rip the
roof off then circles around Nova wrapping his tail around her.

As soon as the Shade had finished his bidding, Nova smiled as
she flew up and above the old pony. "Tsk, tsk and I thought you
were such a kind pony. Look what you have brought us to, making
a mess of things. Such a waste."
Old Pony: "W-what are you doing! What's wrong with you Nova!"
Nova: "Moi? Something wrong? Oh I beg to differ Mr Shellwing. I
have never felt so right."
Mr Shellwing: *backs into a corner* "L-l-leave this place! You
are not welcome here - and that dragon causing destruction upon
my property is in breach of the Treaty! What has gotten into
you?
Nova: *groans and rolls her eyes* "Oh yes, that damned Treaty. I
don't know why I have wasted my life away on those pieces of
scrolls when so much more can be accomplished without it." She
pulls out the official Treaty copy she often carried with her,
puled out a quill and wrote into it before putting it back,
"Since I can't simply destroy the Treaty, and I am the head
official, I could always, oh I don't know..." she smiled a
sickeningly sweet smile, "overlook some actions."
Mr Shellwing: "What do you want then! Take all I have, just
leave me be!"
Nova: "Oh it isn't the property I am after, it is what you have
done some weeks ago to me that I haven't exactly quite
forgotten."
Mr Shellwing: "Then what is it!"
Nova: "You gave me some old dragon scriptures to read, claiming
to be the original but I found out that you handed me some
cheap, unworthy copies. Don't you think I deserve to read the
raw original? You insult me."
Mr Shellwing: "That was a gift to you, I didn't make you pay me
for a piece of history like I usually do with my customers. I
kept the originals as it is a family air loom, it is something
that cannot be simply handed over!"
Nova: "And that, Mr Shellwing, is where your first mistake was."
she said calmly before eyeing Silver Bolt, "Bolt, persuade him
into giving me the originals to read."
(So now that Nova is corrupt she will react to anything
negative, no matter how minor, in an extreme way.)

Bolt Zoomed over and picked up Mr Shellwing. Griping his throat
tight he decided to talk. "After Canterlot I thought I could
walk off the battle field and into a peaceful life. But here I
am ready to rip. I told myself this was about justice about
protecting the weak. But I was wrong I was born knowing that
killing feels good. REALLY GOOD. Regular guys they couldn’t
handle it all the blood and body parts the fear and dying eyes.
Me though I like it A LOT. In Canterlot and town my friends and
Nova they helped me forget the dragon inside. But who am I
kidding I was born to kill. That bit about justice I guess I
needed something to keep me in check when I was about to take
life. But Nova…This was a wakeup call to what I really am. For
the first time BOLT IS BACK. This is why I fight this is me my
nature. Burning ponies alive watching the flesh burn off their
skulls its gunna feel good really good. And when all my killing
is done I think I’ll kill some more. ha..haAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHH.I’m
gunna enjoy this.”
Bolt Slams the pony into the table and bends his hoof the other
way until a snap could be heard. Laughing like a maniac enjoying
the pain he throws the old pony into a wall then flares up his
fist with a purple and black flame pulsing with dark magic. He
repeatedly punches him in the face leaving burns and bruises.
After leaving a crack in his skull Bolt stops and heats up his
hand to be white hot. "Give us what we seek or I'll burn off
your cutie mark." He threatened.

"Don't be too rough Dear, just make sure he can breathe on his
own when you're done." Nova commented in a bored tone as she lay
across the Shade Dragon's head as she inspected her hooves, "Wow
I should really file these back, the edges are so jagged." she
murmured.
She turned her attention to the old pony, "If you'ree ever so
kind to give me those scrolls we will personally drop you off at
the hospital as a thanks, Mr Shellwing." she called over.
The stubborn earth pony said nothing as he writhed in pain.

Over hearing her woes Bolt replies. "After we obtain the scrolls
Mistress I'd gladly give you a hooficure." He then went onto
torturing placing his white hot hand burning him to the bone.

As Mr Shellwing screamed and flailed under the dragon's grip he
finally screamed, "Over there! It's over there in the safe. The
combination is 8224! For the love of Celestia make him stop!"
He pointed to a safe found buried in the corner of the house,
sitting on the bottom shelf of a book case.
Nova nodded to Bolt, gesturing him to cease and collect the
scrolls for her. "Now that wasn't so bad now was it Mr
Shellwing? Bolt, be a dear and drop him off at the hospital.
Tell them to put the medical bills under my name." she
ordered,"Oh and that hooficure sounds grand. I only have time to
get those twice a year."
The phantoms frolicked around Mr Shellwing, as if mocking his
foreboding death with their ghostly appearances.
(Even when corrupted, Nova still pays her debts.)

Bolt bows before Nova and picks the beaten and broken pony up
dragging him by the tail. He speeds off running deep into the
woods nearby. Stopping at a large incline a trail of blood
followed. The black dragon lifted the pony up and threw him into
a ditch at full force. "Enjoy your tomb. This is the lesson you
learn for defying my master." He revs flips his middle claw to
the scholar and speeds back to Nova's side leaving him to die.

Nova simply relaxed on the top of the Shade Dragon's head,
humming to herself.

Bolt returns and comes to a screeching halt. He growls looking
up to the towering shade. "Only I may carry the master." He said
jealous watching her lazy about comfy. "You are unworthy of
touching the master you over grown parasite." Bolt leaps up and
spins at a high speed his spines cutting a large gash into the
shades face.
