What's been lost

Snowfall guides Wisp up to his northern lair, the duo often
stopping for breaks as Wisp got used to flying without vision,
but eventually, they make it. The two land inside Wisp's cavern,
and Snow slides off Wisp's back, waiting on him to make the next
move.

After Snow hops off, Wisp gradually makes his way into the back
room, where the large ice Spectre, complete with skeleton,
resides. He lays himself down at her front claws, wings spread
partway around either side of her. The crystals scattered
around, and the ice statue itself, slowly begin to glow as a low
hum fills the room. The light gradually intensifies until it is
blinding, not that Wisp could tell. His power flows back into
him, and his body grows until it is fullsize again. Slowly, Wisp
opens his reformed eyes, but still he can see nothing. He sighs,
deep and long, and turns around wandering into the main room
where Snowfall is waiting.

Snow looks up as Wisp walks back out, seeing his head held low,
she looks to his eyes. They're there, but... different. A cloudy
white haze has enveloped what was once golden brown, and his
iris' aren't even visible. She sighs herself, thinking upon how
much of a burden this will be for the large dragon.

Wisp shakes a little, his body starting to give off a light,
cold mist, which slowly spreads around the room. He uses it to
sense out Snowfall, and, turning to her, begins to speak.
"It is probably best that I remain here, until such a time that
I can move freely once more."

"Perhaps. But for now, it is best to assume that I will never
return to New South Tails. If you wish to visit me, then I will
not stop you, I ask only that you treat me the same, regardless
of my lack of sight." Wisp these words gently, trying not to
hurt Snowfall more than necessary.

Snow nods, before realising the futility of the action.
"Alright. I'll come back in a week to check up on you. Until
then, farewell."
Without another word Snow takes off, quickly speeding back to
New South Tails.
