After Nova's words the night before Aqua had searched his mind
and found a small but powerful part of Vesper still inside of
him, he tried removing it but was unable. "It's odd, it's almost
like she's still here casting the spell, but how could she be"
He sat down on a hill and tried to work it out

As the pegasus runs by the red magic flashes and extends out,
ready for it this time Aqua grabs it's reaching tendril of
energy "AHA" he shouts before following it back to it's source,
the crystal in his bag, taking it out and laying it in front of
him Aqua looks at it, trying to read it's purpose and strength

distracted by the shout for a moment, Sugar peers around soon
noticing a figure on a nearby hill, thinking it may be Aqua, she
approaches

Looking up and seeing Sugar Aqua quickly puts some small ice
bonds on the crystal and marks them with runes to try and bind
it, slipping it into his bag he looked at the pegasus "You're
approaching me?" he said, slightly surprised "I thought you
hated filthy unicorns"

Aqua sighs "I suppose not" He gets up and walks off towards the
lake "Although I doubt there's much I can do"
