Nova awoke with her head spinning in the middle of a field
beside New South Tails, not too far from the lake. It appeared
this was where she landed after the demon flicked her with a
mere finger when she was trying to help save Silver Bolt.
"Silver Bolt!" she yelled as soon as remembered the current
events and immediately flew to where she and the dragon ran into
the demon. She panicked when she couldn't find him there, but
also sought comfort in not finding remains of him lying around
either. She noticed the tunnel, took note of its location and
flew back into town.
She didn't stop flying until she reached what she hoped was
Siris' house. She banged on the door urgently, with both hooves,
almost knocking it over.
"Siris! Siris! Are you home?" she yelled anxiously over her
banging.

Sparks landed at the lake where he was the day before, this time
noticing the deep hole. He looked around cautiously before
poking his head down the hole. Due to the depth, all he sees is
darkness, so he just goes back to watch over the lake.

Hearing what could possibly be counted as third-degree assault
on his door, Siris leaves his study carrying two books and a few
scrolls in his bag. closing the entrance to it he heads to the
door and opens up. "This place isn't insured, Nova. i'd hate to
have to go buy myself a new door-frame and everything" he said
jokingly.
(sorry i took my time to reply, caught a plane to Melbourne for
the Linkin park concert and my phone was on 5% in the morning)

When the door swung open the pegasus nearly toppled over, "Sorry
Siris, but this is urgent," she panted, "Ignacious has Silver
Bolt and he is searching all of New South Tales for other
dragons, I"m afraid that he will find them. I know it's probably
unlikely, but do you mind if we look for any information on
these demons. Or even the crystals he uses?" he wings flickered
anxiously.
(Hey no worries, this is a thread after all. Once advantage
being not expecting instant - even though it would be preferable
- replies. :) )

As tough on cue, Ignacious walked past Siris' house, each step
caused items on shelves to rattle. He noticed the two ponies,
but simply shot an unnerving grin at them and continued on his
way.

"speak of the devil..." Siris says, hearing a crash coming from
inside the house. "aww hell...anyway, i did some research,
here's a few notes i put together, i based them on these two old
books i found buried in my unread pile" he hands over the books
and the scrolls, looking behind him to see what had broken.

Nova eagerly took the scrolls and books from the pony and
skimmed through them. "Siris, this is brilliant..." she
commented in a hushed tones while reading.
As her eyes darted across the page, piecing Siris' notes and the
facts from the ancient scroll Nova had in her basement. She
found a quill and ink bottle near by and quickly scribbled down
a translated version of her scroll on the back of one of Siris'
notes. From there she flicked through the pages back and forth,
"Well from what we have here, I can say that Ignacious' armour
is in fact powered by a re-useable resource for the crystals to
maintain their effect. That of course, him specializing in
hunting down dragons, my guess that he is using some part of
them for it... I can tell that this would go into a lot more
depth, but the loopholes in between missing information and
translations makes it near-impossible to find out an accurate
result. It's not much but it's a start, thank you."
She looked over to where Siris was looking, "Do you need a hand
with something?"

"nah i should be good for now.." he says, looking around quickly
and then returning to her. "but once this whole giant demon
fiasco is over i'd like to ask a favor"

"well, i'm not sure anyone knew but i'm only on about a two-week
break from the movie because i requested it, they're filming the
scenes that don't need me while i'm gone, but i took the break
because i felt something was wrong, intuition pays off i
suppose..." he says rather quickly, before taking a few breaths.
"sorry, i'm rambling, the point is i need somepony to look after
my place for the remainder of the filming, which is a week from
now"
