Guided by the light of the moon, a pony-like figure tore through
the skies as fast as her little wings could carry her. Her
breathing was rapid, uneven and her vision blurred by her mane
getting in her eyes as well as the blood dripped over her face,
back, sides and legs. Her hysterical eyes squinted as the wind
rushed pass her, and from the light of the stars of moon she
could just see the tops of the roofs of the town quickly
approaching her. She gradually descended towards the ground, the
long grass brushed against her hooves as she soared.
"SOMEONE! ANYONE! PLEASE HELP!" she screamed hysterically. Just
as she reached the edge of the town she lost her balance and
skidded along the dirt, staining the path with dragon's blood.

A familiar face stands nearby, and rolls Nova over. "what in
Equestria is going on here?! what've you done?!"

Nova was shivering, her eyes stretched out wide as she relived
those events in her mind, "I-I couldn't save any of them...
I..." she hid herself behind her bloodied wings, crying.

Looking out from Ember's town side estate Bolt zooms towards the
source of the sound only to see the the pony he loved drenched
in blood from head to hoof shivering.And not just any blood that
smell that texture Bolt knew is was the blood of his own kind.He
steps forward offering her his claws as he steps forwards into
the pool of crimson red.

Uncaring for the dragon that had just approached siris asks her
another question. "Nova, look at me, what happened out there?
Who did this to you?!"

(I find it often entertaining how whenever Nova is hurt, Bolt is
just automatically there)

The pegasus gasped upon seeing her love and quickly scrambled to
her hooves and backed away from him, "No Bolt! Stay back or
you'll get hurt!" she yelled, pointing to the clumps of hundreds
of shards mixed in the blood. She particularly gestured to one
of her hind hooves, which she kept off the ground as a
particularly large crystal was lodged into it. "These crystals
are toxic to dragons and will affect them in different ways
depending on the type, age and size of the dragon the closer
they got to them."
She turned her attention to Siris, "Sss-Siris! He... I... they
all just dropped from the sky like flies..." she choked on her
words, still shaking, staring through the air in front of her.

Bolt ignores her words seeing she's wounded. "Novy your hurt."
He said not heeding her warning.Bolt lifted up her hoof swiftly
yanking the gem out.

"BOLT, BACK NOW!!" He tried to say, as the dragon carelessly
pried the gem out.

The pegasus gritted her teeth when the gem was pulled out. She
looked surprised to see that the gems weren't glowing at all and
affecting the dragon.
"Huh, that's weird..." she murmured. She collapsed into Bolt's
arms and bawled her eyes out, "Bolt... Siris... the dragons of
this town are in terrible danger. We need to hide them, and hope
that he never finds them." she said in between sobs, not
sounding quite like herself and she still shook violently.
