Upcoming RP Arc

Okay guys, I have been planning to do an RP arc with as many
people involved on the board as possible (if you would like to
join of course ;D ). I have designed an antagonist which will
hopefully challenge every character currently active on this
board.
I have only planned out the pacing of the RP and the character's
biography/history, I can't do any more otherwise it wouldn't be
an RP, now would it? XD I was hoping that we could have all our
characters collaborate to take down this new-found foe with
creative problem-solving, drama, team-work and putting each
character's skill-set to the test.
I have sent Nova away to investigate the latest news about the
mysterious dragon disappearances and when she returns the arc
will begin. Keep an eye out for the thread, "Slain" over the
next few days and we can go from there.
Eeek this is gonna be so much fun :D

Also, I will create a biography for the foe later, when the time
is right so there aren't any spoilers! ;) There will be rules
for interacting with this character, especially what he is
invulnerable to. I won't, however, post his weaknesses in the
bio because that would speed up the RP too quickly when RP'ers
have foresight. Plus, where is the fun when people know how to
plan the end? :D

Also, I'm going to need to split the RPers into the following
teams for much later. Please comment in this thread which role
you would like, spaces fill up quickly as there are limited
spots. It's a first come, first serve sort of deal. Please note
that these are only guidelines and everyone can freely RP as
they choose. I have not planned out the entire RP, just the
antagonist and some key points.
;D Rescue Team: Characters who adapt well to any unexpected
situation as well as having great sense of determination are
ideal. A minimum of one character must have these qualities to
at least be able to lead the team. We can't strictly have a
bunch of characters freaking out and not knowing what should be
done in this team alone, now can we? :P This team's approach is
very flexible, in regards for which ever strategy they come up
with. (Just as long as it doesn't speed up the RP too much;
pacing and quality writing is what makes an RP great.)

:o Captive Team: Characters who deliberately get themselves
captured to help free the victim team from the inside-out and
leak information to the Rescue Team. Characters will be
interacting with the antagonist often, as well as
side-characters. Only OCs who have very strong will-power to
endure the trauma - either psychological or physical - are best
suited for this role. Nova will be one of them of course. ;)
Including Nova, up to a maximum of three characters only. Too
many and it will spoil the 'broth'. The ideal number is just two
(including Nova) but it's only fair to open up extra space for
anyone else who would like to be a part of this.

:'( Victim Team: Well, since the antagonist is actually the
whole reason why the dragons are mysteriously disappearing, this
team is only reserved for the people who have dragon OCs: Silver
Bolt, Wisp, Sparky and Ember. I only need a minimum of one
character, should the other two would prefer to take either of
the two other roles. Like the Captive Team, the Victim Team will
interact with the antagonist, some side-characters and the
Captive Team. Ideally, the Victim Team will be rendered close to
helplessness until either other teams can do something about it.

"Slain" will be starting fairly soon! :D I just need to finalise
some things about the antagonist as well as IRL stuff. Can't
wait!! Hee hee!

While I was reading the Slain topic, I realised something
(around the time i joined) that given both the different
species, element and climate that I have from regular fire
dragons, we'd have different reactions to crystals
Eg a poisonous crystal to a fire dragon could be a delicacy to
an ice dragon
a whole wave of "i wasnt even in biology but i know this shit"
just hit me

@ Wisp: I like that idea, we can use that to our advantage :D
Just for the sake of the RP's pacing, let's make a
challenge/hurdle before Wisp has the opportunity to devour said
crystals. Just so it's not too easy aye? xD Maybe some of the
crystals can affect Wisp but not all of them? or you can pick
whatever it is to challenge him to get to his goal?
So far:
Dark Purple Crystals - dramatically reduces dragons' endurance
and eliminates ability to fly within a particular radius
Dark Red Crystals - protects the demon from all magic-based
attacks and effects; this includes dragon elemental attacks
Dark Orange Crystals - Coupled with a dragon sacrifice,
Ignacious can heal any of his injuries.
Other coloured crystals will be revealed in time. Don't want
spoilers now do we? ;D

affecting him even though they aren't.
EDIT: Or, I could go Victim, but switch to already captured
Captive when I realise some gems don't affect me.
