A sizeable change

Wisp stands in the back room of his northern mountain cave, the
skeleton of his long dead mate still sitting inside the ice
statue he sculpted of her.
"I've overstepped my bounds..." Wisp mumbles aloud, before
inhaling deeply. As he rests, several crystals and runes around
the room begin to light up, then the ice statue itself begins to
glow, as does Wisp. The light grows to a blinding brightness
before settling back down, the Runes fading away, and the
crystals and ice sculpture retaining an ethereal glow. Where
Wisp was standing is now a much younger dragon, roughly the size
of an Alicorn (or Vesper).
The smaller Wisp returns back outside, sealing the cave shut
once more before flying back to NST.
(For your characters to know you'd have to ask, but so you all
understand, I'm working off a modified theory about the
Princesses magical power, basically saying that they grow in
size as their power increases. Eg, when Luna (NMM) was stripped
of her dark powers, she became small and frail, but in the
Nightmare Night episode she'd regained some of her former
stature and powers. This is the same thing, but the power that
Wisp gave up was placed inside the crystals, though due to the
large amount of power it's being kept in check by the bones of
another Arctic Ghost Dragon)

Ember heads outside coiling her tail around an umbrella to keep
the sun off her scales ."Oh my Celestia is certainly doing her
job today." She Said walking into throughout town under her
shaded veil.She look up into the air spotting of all things a
dragon not much Bigger than Silver Bolt.She seems shocked then
waves and callout from the ground. "Hello sir.....hello down
here."

Seeing the distressingly pink dragon, Wisp drops to the ground,
landing without a sound.
"Ah, madam Ember. How are you?"

Ember almost gives a squeak seeing that the dragon is indeed
Wisp.The mighty elder who once landed with a thud was now
landing as quiet and as elegantly as herself. "Elder Wisp....I
mean Sir Wisp...Your so young." She said with a small smile
placing her hand over her mouth.

Wisp spoke sombrely, the greed for his former power leaving it's
mark on his voice

Ember nodded raising her umbrella over Wisp as well sharing the
shade. "Very wise Nearly all dragons can stand adversity, but if
you want to test a someone's character, give him power.And now
you've had power you've chosen to give it up.Wisp I admire your
valor this will look very good on my report to the princess."
Ember gave a small bow of her head as a thanks for making her
job easier. "Please will you walk with me?" She questiond.

Ember seemed delighted reveling in the thought of spending an
evening with her own kind.She walks at a slow pace keeping sure
to keep the umbrella raised over both of them. "Being a frost
dragon the sun today must be terrible on your scales." She
mentioned before looking to the sky sensing something off.

"It's not that bad. Up in the North it's much worse, the snow
and Ice reflect so a lot of light and heat, so I was largely
nocturnal, as were the rest of the animals up there."

"Oh you poor dear should your scales ever need attention come
see me post haste." Ember closed her wings seeming a bit shy. "I
wanted to tell you something but you must promise not to tell
Silver."
