Recent events had brought this red egg into the town of New
South Tails. The egg was fairly large and was a bright red the
egg's texture is hard and cracked like the rock surfaces found
near volcanos. The egg sits nestled by the foot path leading to
the lake.It sits dormant atop a shrub just be the road. With no
sign of a nest in sight it seemed as if this egg belonged to
nopony.

On the way back from the lake, Moxie passes by the egg. At first
she doesn't notice it, but when she looks backwards to the lake,
she sees it perched on the shrub. Carefully, she approaches it,
hoping not to be attacked by some angry dragon matriarch.
(Too slow :P)

(Yeah I was reading through the forums and I was thinking either
one of the towns 3 dragons or that pony who has a dragon mark.)

(Instead you get the most shy, submissive pony in town, unless
Aqua steps in.)

(Hey, I was being polite to not ruin someone's planned plotline,
and I called dibs, but fine, if that's how you want it)
Aqua walked up behind Moxie as she was stalking the egg, his
recently brought sopping floating through the air behind him
"What are you doing"

(I'm not stalking it! I'm approaching with extreme caution!)
Moxie jumps up, startled, and manages to teleport next to the
egg.
"I-I... Wh-Who's egg...?"

After returning from her trip, the exhausted pegasus sudden
found a surge of energy upon instantly noticing the egg. She
zipped pass the two ponies and landed right next to to the egg,
"Oh my goodness! A dragon egg! One of these haven't appeared in
over a decade!" she gasped, clutching to it instantly.
