Rules and Stuff

This is the official Role Playing Forum for the Bronies Of NSW
group.
Roleplaying is the act of playing the role of a
nother character with other characters. In our roleplay, you can
play as a pony in the world of NEW SOUTH TAILS a small town like
ponyville, You are free to join the roleplay and move from
location to location and talk and interact with the other
ponies, but please follow these rules before and during your
roleplay.
Basic Rules
- Remember, you are in New South Tails, NOT Ponyville. try to
limit introducing characters from the show, you can do it. but
try to control it.
- The account you use for role playing must have your OC's name
and a picture.
- The RP is run semi-real-time. No time-jumping, if it's daytime
on Tuesday the 2nd in real life, it's daytime on Tuesday the 2nd
in the RP.
However, due to the fact that typing a conversation with someone
else, and also typing in actions, takes longer than it would
IRL, a slight bit of leeway is accepted.
UPDATE:
The time-jumping rule still applies
However, as things have slowed down, more leeway is allowed. An
addition to the rule, however, is as follows
You may only participate in one thread at a time.
- No meta-gaming
- No god-modding
- No RPing someone else's character without permission
- Try to AVOID role-playing as Characters from the show E.G The
mane 6, Doctors Whooves, Vinyl Scratch, Lyra etc..
- Respect other role-players
- Respect the rules
- Use "quotes" when talking. Basic English.
"Good day today huh?"
- No Killing Or Violence for no reason
- No Insulting other players out of character
- If you have a Problem out of the game please contact the admin
- Breaking of these rules will be one warning, you get 3
warnings before being temp banned
- After being temp banned for 3 days you will be re-added. if
you keep breaking the rules you will be banned for a week.
Continuous violations will result in a Permaban
- No Spamming
- use the chatbox to talk out of character. If this is
impossible (or highly problematic) for you, use the tags (OOC)
- use the tags (DRM) to describe a dream. if you make a new post
with those tags then you may have the convo normally.
- NO causing Unnecessary destruction... or destroying land
marks. If this is necessary for a story arc contact the admin.
>>SHIPPING RULES<<
Shipping in roleplay includes kissing, cuddling and physical
contact between two characters.
There is to be limited shipping. Two characters can meet, flirt
and eventually fall in love, but at that point you must either
take it to a private roleplay or just don't go into details with
how you cuddle every second of every day.
If you for any reason your scene becomes graphic use the NSFW
board.
>>SPECIAL EVENTS<<
Some special events will occur in the roleplay. You will be
notified beforehand and we will discuss and plan the events
before they occur. If you have ideas for special events please
contact an admin

Just an addition
Yes, this is an RP group, duh.
However, that doesn't mean you have to RP either fighting or
whatever all the time.

Thing I'd like to point out, I DONT EVEN CARE IF ITS IN THE
RULES OR NOT K?
No metagaming.
This means, no using your own knowledge of what's going on to
affect your characters actions. If they haven't seen or been
told something, THERE'S A HIGH CHANCE THEY DON'T KNOW.
