       We Never Asked IPOB, MASAOB To Stop Agitation For Biafra - Ohana

       The Peak Igbo sociocultural association, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, said
       it has never been against Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB),
       Movement for the Actualisation of Sovereign State of Biafra
       (MASSOB) or other separatist groups disturbing for a sovereign
       state of Biafra.
       The President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Gary Enwo
       Igariwey, who made the illumination yesterday, additionally
       responded to the Friday shooting at Ohanaeze secretariat in
       Enugu taking after a misconception between two groups of
       Ohanaeze youth wing.
       Igariwey said it has never been the official position of
       Ohanaeze that IPOB and different gatherings ought to stop
       fomentation for a sovereign state.
       He noticed that Ohanaeze's position is that the
       Pro-Biafra groups were allowed to upset for power yet in doing
       as such, they ought not open themselves to hurt by security
       agencies.
       "They are allowed to agitate however we are just saying
       they ought not open themselves to security dangers; they are
       free to agitate," he expressed.
       On the shooting at Ohanaeze secretariat which brought
       about an alarm amid a meeting on Friday, Igariwey said Ohanaeze
       is determining the emergency inside the youth wing which came
       about into the fracas.
       .      "There is no major issue; we are taking care of the
       matter. The shooting was inadvertent by a security man appended
       to one of the authorities (of Ohanaeze), in an offer to control
       a tensed circumstance. In any case, no one was harmed," he said.
       Review that a policeman opened fire at the National
       Secretariat of the association in Enugu on Friday.
       It was learnt that the episode was brought on by authority
       tussle between adversary groups of the Ohanaeze Youth Council.
