Control Scheme

Im still working out some different stuff but I think the
controls will be joystick based in the free-roam islands with
maybe a button to toggle running. Any other buttons I need to
include?

if you put things in the world such as signs, items laying
around put like an (A) button too, maybe (B) for jump?

Jumping won't be necessary because the game will be in 2D. Like
the original Pokemons.
And you could probably use your finger to touch the sign to read
it?

ok that makes sense lol^ but I was thinking like in the world
like when the ground is above you a little bit like a ledge you
can climb up it

I dont know about different ground levels but signs (on the
tutorial island) can be read by "running into them" or touching
them with your character.

Perfect, keep it simple. I assume any actions can be done my
touching that item, person, etc...

So should touching them activate a response or running into them
with your player?
